December 3, 1976 …But priests like My worthy servant Marcel are persecuted, condemned and outlawed, because they see the sacramental sacrifice as the truest and holiest, and celebrate the mystery of My body and blood with holy reverence. I do not believe for one minute that Our Lord, who instituted the hierarchy, would say that faith is greater than obedience. I do not discern this as true from Our Lord.
I agree with this. I have read countless apparitions and locutions to saints and never, ever have I heard something placed by Christ above obedience. On the contrary, He insists that His saints obey their superiors over His own direct commands!

So, dear Friends, if someone, from the Hierarchy say, commands you to give up your Faith, in the name of obedience, will you do so? No, of course not, you will not. And therefore, Faith is greater than Obedience, because Authority cannot compel us to give up your Faith. Authority exists rather to boost our Faith and strenghten it. Let us consult the Holy Bible, and St. Peter the First Pope, Acts 5:29 "But Peter and the Apostles answering, said: We ought to obey God, rather than men." Where was "holy obedience" then? If they had obeyed men rather than God, the Gospel would have perished. Christ did not. Neither did the Apostles. Obedience is first and foremost to Almighty God - it is due to Him alone in Perfect Justice - and only then, to men on Earth, and even that, only in so far as they are keeping His Commandments. I understand the emphasis on obedience in former ages, such as for e.g. the Jesuits had when fighting against Anti-Catholic Protestants. At that time, the Enemies of the Church were outside the Church, and obedience to the Catholic Hierarchy worked out the Salvation of the Church and kept Her free from all errors. The situation we are in today, with Communists and Masons having infiltrated the Church, is very different. Today, we have to be more discerning in who we give our Obedience to. Obedience is only to God for His own sake; obedience is given to men, for God's Sake, only and insofar as they are promoting the Reign of God. God Bless. Cardinal Antonio Canizares Llovera told the Catholic News Agency that the traditional posture is a “sign of adoration that needs to be recovered.” When Catholics receive Communion while standing, they should show their reverence with a bow, the Spanish cardinal said; but in practice few people do that. He said: “I think the entire Church needs to receive Communion while kneeling.”

Oh, would that such souls might multiply, who understand the book Save the World, and The Prayer of Love, and who would offer themselves as victim souls to Me; then My Kingdom would newly blossom in this world. This is the sickness of My Church, that shows that good pastors are in the minority. Many of My chosen servants let themselves be influenced by false teachers, and become weak in faith and in the matter of humility, which has been the foundation in the lives of the saints. This apostolate serves first of all to glorify and recognize My Virgin Mother in this time; therefore, it conquers My love in a special way. It is the time when many Christians, members of My one and true Church, forget, deny, and reject their Heavenly Mother and therefore become disloyal to her; whoever becomes guilty of disloyalty does not belong to My Church. Among the rebels, one can find more and more of the consecrated servants of the Church. These are the ones who make themselves guilty of the sin of Judas, who gave Me with his kiss not love, but the greatest pain. And, because of the shepherds who have been appointed to their office and who have become weak, the truly faithful have to supplement with their prayers, their struggles, and sufferings what these priests have neglected and missed. Therefore, I look with great compassion upon the praying people and the victim souls. Their suffering is great in their heart, but magnificent and beautiful shall be the love which is awaiting them at the threshold of eternity. Their number is yet small, but is growing each day. I’m sorry, but I stick by what I said at first. Faith is not greater than obedience. I do grant you that the Church has been infiltrated. However, my concern is still that Our Lord would not say that Faith is greater than Obedience. We are not free to pick and choose outside of the Barque.
Archbishop Lefebvre was the leader of the (as it was then called) The Holy Ghost Fathers. He said that, once VII was over, he could not get obedience himself from most members of his order who insisted that the (assumed) new theology of the Council trumped obedience to him! It was once that he had lost control of his own order of which he was the ELECTED leader that he decided that the Church was so chaotic that he had to step outside of its structures. Whatever the rights and wrongs of his decisions, he was undoubtedly a very good man who wanted only to stop the rot.
What goes around, comes around, oddly enough. I’m not judging the man. Only God can judge him. I’m just not a fan of how he handled what he called the chaos in the Church, if what you posted is true. He managed to create more chaos, imho.
