    I know hell is a real place. I know the souls there will never leave.

    I prayed about this last night.

    I wish hell on no one.
    But for now on I hope and pray everyone will atleast go to purgatory.

    Thats why the rosary and divine mercy chaplet is important.

    I know its probaly not realistic but i hope no one elnse goes to hell.
    I pray they repent

    1 timothy 2:1-8

    2" I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

    2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

    3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

    4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

    5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

    6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

    7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

    8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting."

    Wonderfully apt Scripture.:)

    Colossians 4:6

    Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.

    I love the Fatima prayer. 'Oh my Jesus , forgive us our sins, save all souls from hell, especially those in most need of your mercy!'

    Hell is such a difficult thing for people to get their heads around. Especially in these latter days. Perhaps because as I think Pope St John Paul said that people have lost their sense of sin. We believe that all people are trying hard and that being good is all about being nice. We have painted a World were we only have the nice bright colours, the reds, the whites, the yellows, the oranges. We no longer see the browns, the gray, the blacks, the purples. So long as people basically get through life keeping the laws, that they are nice people even though they may be living truly debauched lives of profound moral filth.

    The saddest thing of all these days is not that people reject God, but that they simply don't care enough about God to have an opinion one way of the other they simply don't care enough to make decisions one way or the other. They just, 'Want to get on with life'. This is the worst evil of all.

    For as Jesus said,

    Revelation 3:16

    To the Church in Laodicea
    …15I know your deeds; you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were one or the other! 16So because you are lukewarm— neither hot nor cold— I am about to vomit you out of My mouth! 17You say, ‘I am rich; I have grown wealthy and need nothing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.…

    I think that was one thing I loved about the Catholics in Southern Italy, that they have been so quick to spot the saints like Padre Pio who lived amongst them. I think in wider Western Societies these days , people could be living next door to a saint or a Hannibal Lector and no one would know the difference, or even care very much either way. It's just about , 'Getting on with life'. About being lukewarm. Luke warm will get you to hell a lot quicker than anything else. I think the one great hallmark for Catholics these days is the great surprise they will show when they pass through the curtain of death and find themselves in the everlasting flames. Their one great feeling of astonishment and surprise at finding themselves there.

    I was watching an episode series last night called, 'The Good Doctor'. In it was a young homosexual man, formerly a Hassidic Jew , who was training to be Surgeon. He had been rejected by his people and family and had in his turn rejected God. Since there was no God, as he decided he would simply do good by being a Doctor and Abandoned his religion.

    He in a real sense had rejected God and even hated the idea of He reminded me of someone who was wrestling with the Almighty. I thought to myself how much I liked this. That he cared enough to hate . That he was a person who cared enough to wrestle.

    At one point the young Doctor has a fellow Jewish patient who he misdiagnoses and because of this error the elder Jewish gentleman faces surgery which will result in his death. He turns to the young Doctor and asks him to pray a prayer of healing over him. The young Doctor says, 'I do not believe in God!' Then the elder Jew replies, 'Neither do I! But please, please pray!

    ..and of course they do.

    So very touching and says so much about our World today.

    I think if we live in a World which has decided that it can get along perfectly fine without God that we already walk the Streets of Hell.

    It's just that we are so used to living in this city we don't even know any different anymore.

    It's just the way things are...

    ..but there is fathomless sea of the deepest pain and suffering all around us. It may only lap at our feet, but it is always, always there...

    I agree. I ask Our Lord at every Mass for His Precious Blood to save every poor sinner in danger of damnation who will be dying that day. I beg the Father "please do not let the Blood of Jesus be in vain this day for those who are dying--but let it be their safe refuge!"

    No. Its hard going isn't it? I find myself pleading "hold on to me Lord Jesus. Don't let go of me!" I just don't trust myself. This world is hellish in so many ways spiritually speaking.
