I have been listening to this Irish guy a lot recently. In many ways I like him, but am troubled by some of the off the cuff remarks he makes. I wonder if you listen to him talk what you think. His subject matter here is that 12 priests in Italy blessed a same sex, 'Union' with the approval of their Cardinal, the Archbishop Or Bologna who happens to be Head of the Italian Bishops Conference. Some of the things he said disturbed me, For instance that he is sure the homosexuals who took part in the 'Wedding', were , 'Good guys' (how on Earth would he know such a thing) He was sure that the priest(s) who conducted the wedding were , 'Good guys'. (really?) That since he was , 'Not a Theologian', he could not have an opinion. (why not?) That he did not, 'Want to offend anyone'. (why not?) All this, nicety, nicety niceness, honestly makes me want to just throw up. Boke, boke, boke. I don't in the least mind offending anyone, instead I kind of enjoy it. As to the evil priests, the evil Cardinal and perverts who took part in this whole thing , well if you don't repent you're all going to hell. The Cardinal who allowed it to the deepest part of hell and the Pope who gave him the wink and the nod to do it the deepest part of hell of all, right down there with Judas. So there. The more I've offended anyone, well the more I offend, the happier I am. Where is it written in the Gospels that we must not go around offending people? This is why they called Jesus, 'A Sign of Contradiction', this is why they nailed Him to the Cross, because He offended people like crazy. I am sick to death of this tippy toeing. I was never a nice person, I used to go round for years shooting people, who were doing their very,very best to shoot me first.. Getting older and crankier hasn't made me any nicer. I hate nice. I hope the dreadful, evil people who did this read this and their heads blow up they are so offended.
..and if Italy and Ireland go on the way they are they'll soon find out that God isn't very nice either.
Padraig, Well, I'm thankful that this man made this video and that you posted it because I haven't heard this from anywhere else yet. I am a little amazed that this is already happening in other places besides Germany. As for this Irish guy, he appears to be a devil's advocate by "Just asking the question" as he repeats over and over again. My other thought is that he seems very likable and he does well in this video to point out the extremely awkward position that he is finding himself in and that many of us will probably also find ourselves in soon, it seems. What are your thoughts about the pope calling for this meeting (consistory) in August on a weekend? I'm glad that this man pointed this out also. I agree but I think that it won't be just Germany, Italy and Ireland. Scary but as this man points out in the video, is this the great apostasy? What are your thoughts about the pope calling for this meeting (consistory) in August on a weekend? I think he is going to retire then. Even the mainstream media are picking up on this now. I listened to this this morning :
Maybe they could form an Old Popes club and they could have a drink together an discuss why no other Popes in the last two thousand years got up to such a trick.
