I have been thinking about the prophecies regarding schism in the Church and especially the one from Sr. Agnes Sasagawa at Akita quoting Our Lady as saying that 'bishop will oppose bishop and cardinal will oppose cardinal'. We are, I suppose in this situation already but there seem to be only a very few bishops and cardinals opposing the seemingly great majority who either openly express 'progressive' ideas or who do not openly oppose them. So, I wondered when some really irreconcilable difference among a large number of the hierarchy might arise and to what it might relate. Anyway, I was watching one of Robert Nugent's videos ('Determined to be Catholic' YT channel) and he said that, although St. JPII had definitively declared ex-Cathedra in 1994 that the Church does not have the power to ordain women, that demands/suggestions/requests/hints (whatever they are) for this innovation seem to figure significantly in the Synodal feedback. He quotes one Jesuit as saying that it is not possible for the Church to reverse such a definitive ruling and another who seems to think that it is. I heard a priest say, in a homily, that he could see no good reason for women to be barred from ordination and that he would happily support such a move (he was also fond of telling us that we Catholics 'overdo' devotion to Our Lady and abandoned the priesthood some years ago to marry). However, I digress. It does seem to me that if the innovation of female ordination has or gains the open support of a large number of bishops and cardinals (take Francis as read even though he has actually said that 'that door is closed') then female ordination might finally be the 'tipping point' for some, currently subdued members of the hierarchy, to finally 'raise their heads above the parapet' and say 'absolutely not' and that this will finally set the cats among the pigeons.
I have always suspected that the tipping point will be the Abomination of Desolation set up in the Holy Place , spoken of in the Book of Daniel. This will be changes to the Liturgy in the Mass which will make it null and void and end the Holy Sacrifice so that it no longer exists. They only need to change a few words to accomplish this I certainly would not put this past them; they seem capable of anything.
I feel that this is all coming in such slow motion.. every day I am just waiting for the next thing to happen, in the Church and in the world. Nothing surprises me anymore. But I indeed fell something big on the horizon. How fitting though is the end of todays first reading: "For freedom Christ set us free; so stand firm and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery." I can look at this is so many different ways, but I feel it especially pertains to the New World (Dis)order. Looks like the Church will be going underground shortly.
