I've mentioned before that my Great Grandpa Edward and his wife came over to Philadelphia in 1870. They had 13 children, of which 7 died within the first year of birth. I'm not shocked about that. Influenza, ear infections, and the like commonly caused deaths back then among infants. My Grandfather Dan was born in 1887 and had a marvelous faith. In the first decade of the 1900s, he became endeared to the Carmelites, especially the Little Flower. I have a photo of him from 1909 before his trip to Europe standing in front of the Carmel in Philadelphia mentioned in the article below. Even my Dad, John, kept in touch with the Carmel, and my Mom bequeathed to me a copy of a Night Prayer that the Carmel made available to benefactors. I pray that prayer virtually every night before climbing in bed. So sentimental me is aghast at the seizure of the Carmel mentioned below. I noticed that such a seizure didn't take place under the watch of Archbishop Chaput. I wish he still headed up the diocese. I pray, O Lord, for the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church. It strikes me as literally Diabolical. The work of the Devil. God will act and act quickly to protect His own. I would be terrified of being involved in something like this in case God struck me Dead on the spot. But these awful people have clearly no Fear of God whatsoever. Imagine going before the Judgement Seat of God having been involved in shutting down one of His very Own Carmels! Terrifying.

The "purification" sounds like the Illumination of conscience doesn't it? This is a hopeful yet somber message. It confirms what we have said here. The Church is in the midst of her Passion. Maybe even at the summit of Golgotha. Can the Warning be far off?
No fear of God at all. After just reading the message you posted of Jesus to the Polish mystic I thought the same thing. These men (and women too I suppose) must have utterly no sense of God's justice. They have lost any faith in the truth of God's existence perhaps? Or at some point made a decision to serve the evil one for pleasure and political power? Chilling.
When I was young my father used to take us kids up to a Confraternity of the Redemptorists. In those far off days before the Vatican 2 thing had kicked in the,'Red's' , still kept a special vow they had instituted by their Founder and Doctor of the Church St Alphonsus Ligouri to Preach on Hell. Honestly those sermons would have scared you speechless. I remember vividly on priest telling us all to close our eyes and imagine a drop of boiling hot water had fallen on our skin. Then to imagine we had been plunged into vat of boiling hot water. Then to imagine we were placed in the boiling water forever and ever and ever and ever...for all Eternity. You can imagine the effect of all this being drummed into a 13 year old boy. Our Lady of course did the exact same thing to the kids at Fatima. She actually showed them hell as she recently did to the kids at Medugorje. A certain fear of hell is a good thing, not a bad thing. I am trying to recall when the last time was I heard a Sermon on Hell. You know I don't think it was since I was a child. How sad.
When Pope St Paul VI said that , 'The Smoke of Satan has entered into the Church', he certainly knew what he was talking about. I was just listening to the last message of Our Lady at Garabandal. It is uncanny how accurate it was given all that we see all around us. Our Lady's Message of June 18, 1965 Since my Message of October 18, 1961 has not been complied with and has not been made much known to the world, I will tell you that this is the last one. Before the chalice was filling now it is overflowing. MANY CARDINALS, MANY BISHOPS, AND MANY PRIESTS ARE ON THE PATH OF PERDITION AND THEY TAKE MANY SOULS WITH THEM. Did you know that at the last message of Our Lady at Garabandal she could not even give it, it made her so sad? She had to ask St Michael the Arcangel give it instead? Conchita was so horrified by it, she could hardly repeat it. Yet it is all around us now and is everywhere. Everywhere.
We are "there" for sure but how long it takes for "there" to play out is anyone's guess. It is like being in the eye of a great storm. It is all around us everywhere and yet we are in the midst of a great silence it seems. As if the whole world is holding its breath. As we move out of the eye of the storm then the real havoc begins--why Conchita was terrified. I am sorry about Fr Pavone. Any time a great figure on the right side of things falls it is a devastation to the faithful. I remember Fr Eitenaur. And Fr Corapi. Being a high profile priest is a great danger. To them and to us. It all comes down to obedience in the end. And humility. The hardest thing of all. Again Padre Pio shows us the way.

I was mistaken. When my Grandfather stood in front of the Carmel in 1909, it was a smaller Carmel, for the above article states this beautiful Carmel did not open until 1910!
