I could hardly bear to look. I know very well what these totally evil people are up to...and they are totally evil, many of them Cardinals, one of them the Pope.
You've got 90Per cent of the Church behind you on that Did you ever hear of a little animal called a Lemming? Look it up on Google
Mercy and Justice have embraced as the Pslsmist said . We're going to get no brownie points I. Heaven for thinking that being nice is anything at all to do with love or clear sightedness . There's not a darn thing wrong with called out evil for what it is Pure evil .
I believe I will be judged also on standing up for the true faith. Being judged on love sounds beautiful but in reality we are judged on our sins.
Well, our capacity to love is what we'll be judged on; sin diminishes that capacity. So does complacency, which I would guess is a form of sloth or pride. 'Niceness' seems to me to be generally opposed to love.
Exactly. You cannot love what is evil. Don't get caught up in 'the Church of nice'. We love what is good and this current Pope has straight out shown that he is out to change Church doctrine which is good and divine! Allowing that synod is anything but good.. Just pray for him. He certainly needs us that!
In the Confiteor: “for what I have done and what I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault.”
I agree. I remember in Catherine's Seina's book , the Dialogues, theres a part where Lord warned about us judging his priests. To leave the priests alone. The Lord will correct and deal with priests on his own..This is all happening for a reason and part of his plan for the Church. Keep our eyes on Christ and growing interiorly. Simple as doves. We are too little to understand Gods full plan unfolding. We are just to love. Clarifying confusing statements on Church matters is different, then personally attacking the pope. The later, serves no purpose.
I have to agree. We are not called to this--let God be God. But under no circumstances obey sinful directives. In that case one must speak out.
Agree..... First to the person, then bring two others and then to the whole assembly. I just cant base my decisions on news clips. I don't trust most of them. I honestly don't pay any attention to most of what is said. Things are a mess, so I pray and fast. I have no personal contact with Rome and its above my jurisdiction. I just correct when I hear error. I love our pope and pray for his spiritual protection and wisdom. Loving doesn't mean I agree with all statements said. But I love because I am a daughter of the Church and his is the chosen vicar right now.
Even Pope's need a good bash on the head sometimes. Jesus gave Peter a few good solidwhackss. Like, 'Behind me Satan'. There have been good Pope's, there have been Great Pope's, there have been bad Pope's, there have been wicked Pope's. Why should any of this surprise us? If a wicked no good Pope needs a good bashing , I for one am perfectly happy to bash away at him.
The Truth is often hard to stick. When Jesus declared the Eucharist people ran away in droves. Pope Francis is a wicked and evil old man and I have nothing good to say about him whatsoever. Plus he is very, very nasty and dislikeable as evil people tend to be. There you go I said it. Run away as hard as ever you can. I don't care if he is Pope or not, he is totally, totally no good. Plus he is a very, very nasty and dislikeable individual. It is the simple truth.
I have not lived as long as I have lived, nor prayed as much as I have, that I cannot tell good from evil when I see it. I am not the only one who sees it. But for some reason folks are not prepared to call it out.
