"Pope Michael II"'s website is surprisingly good spiritual advice

This isnt meant to be a religious endorsement of this curious figure, successor of Pope Michael of Kansas , just a sort of "compare and contrast" between this person and the vatican hierarchy
For example, he posts stuff such as:

These quotes really stuck with me, personally

Imagine that you have worked all day and are finally sitting down to dinner with your family. Suddenly, you hear a knock on the door. You aren’t expecting anyone, so you look through the peephole thinking you will maybe see a salesman or someone who wants to mow your lawn. Instead, you see the King of the universe.

You would break down your front door to welcome Him in!

But what if you see a starving child, half-naked, with more holes than cloth in the rags he or she is wearing? Her hair is unkempt and filled with lice; her face is covered with dirt and sweat. Would you break down your door to welcome her in?

Jesus tells us that anyone who embraces little children, who loves them and who gives them dignity and value in His name is actually doing these same things for Jesus Himself (see Matthew 18:5).

But Christ’s words are quite serious: “Then he shall answer them, saying: Amen I say to you, as long as you did it not to one of these least, neither did you do it to me.” (Matthew 25:45). Keith Green, an American contemporary Christian music pianist, singer, and songwriter, wrote a song called, “The Sheep and the Goats,”. In it, he imagines what it would be like to stand before God and hear those words:

I was naked, out in the cold, in exposure, and you sent me away,

I was a stranger, and I knocked at your door,

But you didn’t open, you told me to go away,

I was sick, racked in pain upon my bed,

And I begged, and prayed, and pleaded that you’d come, but you didn’t,

I was in prison, and I rotted there,

I’d prayed that you’d come.

What a sobering thought.

Are we willing to be the ones to go? To be like that soldier who took the time to buy bread for a little orphan boy? Are we willing to go ourselves once a week or once a month or even once a year to sit with those who are dying of AIDS or some other sickness? To be a comfort to those left behind?

it is what it is. Im not saying this person is the true Pope at all...just that he would make an hypothetical good job at it

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing” (John 15:5).

It strikes me as kind of new agey good advice. People that separate themselves from the Magisterium tend to be like satellites they kind of circle the world for a while and then wander of into out space. We saw this so well with so many Protestant Sects.

I didn't see these writings grounded anywhere in Scripture or Patristic writings. It reminds me of the writings from wise Aunty giving advise in a local paper. Nice..but well....just nice.
