I did not know that Cardinal Burke had been sacked now! I believe Pope Francis is going too far and it's all going to backfire on him... Michael Matt on this and more: https://remnantnewspaper.com/web/in...g-cardinal-burke-the-collapse-of-team-francis
Yes, I heard 'Pope Francis' is kicking Cardinal Burke out of the flat that the holy Cardinal lives in. 'Pope Francis' is also taking away the Cardinal's income. This is all happening for no good reason, simply because 'Pope Francis' sees Cardinal Burke as his "enemy". The humble, friendly and very measured Cardinal Burke has always said that he is nobody's enemy. He did question the attacks 'Pope Francis' undertook on the sacraments of marriage (Amoris Laetitia) and the eucharist (Traditiones Custodes), but this is of course his duty as a Cardinal. I had the honour of meeting His Eminence Cardinal Burke in Auckland a few years ago. He blessed my marriage, which I will always remember with gratitude.
Yes, I feel very blessed. Cardinal Burke is a wonderful prelate - humble, kind, intelligent, holy. He would make a great Supreme Pontiff, I think, just like Cardinal Sarah, or Cardinal Mueller!

I’m sure it was a bit tongue in cheek, but his answer that “I’m still alive” is a bit revealing. To come out of a meeting with the Vicar of Christ and that being how you describe it is imo sad
