This video is a must watch if you want an insight into what the Lavender mafia are imposing on the Contemplative Religious Orders. ROME WANTS TO DISBAND THEM LIKE HENRY VIII DID IN ENGLAND FIVE HUNDRED YEARS AGO. Only this time it is the nefarious elements who rule the roost in the Vatican these days who are doing the devils work for it. This could not be happening without the Popes stamp of approval IMHO, so pray for Pope Francis.

Losing Consecrated Religious who spend their lives in prayer and penance for the Mystical Body of Jesus Christ on earth is the next best thing to an abomination of desolation, which I truly believe would be on the cards without these selfless souls hidden and known only to God.

We are in big trouble, from within the Church. Abp. Vigano has a point, we need to relisten to what he is saying. Keep Watch and Pray.

If I were the Devil and had wound up controlling the Church and had a target list what would I want to hit first?

1 . The Mass, especially the Eucharist.

    2. Devotion to Our Lady.

    3. The Family.

    4 . Contemplatives.

Try anything good and Sacred and you'll find they are mounting very serious attacks against it.

Take even Sacred Scripture Which you might think is safe enough by its very nature). If you listen to the readings at Mass you can tell quite regularly that they are being Doctored and modified so they don;t contradict Modernist teachings. On many occasions I have caught Reader at Mass altering phrases and words right there on the hoof, on their own bat so to speak.

One the great attacks recently has been on the writings of St Paul whom many of them want to cut from Scripture altogether because they don't suit .

Another thing, which we might judge safe enough is the Holy Rosary. But one of the great things that Seminarians come under very, very serious attack for by their Professors is reciting the Rosary which is taken as a great sign that the young man, is, 'Not the right sort' (too rigid, fundamentalist, out of touch etc)

But one thing drives them totally insane, for some reason is any belief or mention at all is reference to the Mystical, the Miraculous or the Supernatural. That drives them totally , totally nuts. They just won't have it.

Funny enough I noticed at Mass this morning that this is the Feast of Saint Bruno, the Patron Saint of the Carthusians.

Take a man or a woman who wants to become a Contemplative, say as an extreme example example a Hermit. By its very nature such a person will be viewed by the World as a nut job. What other way could the world view them for they are going totally, totally against all that the world values.

To some extent this is true of all Christians since the Christian by his or her very existence militates against the Values of the World. As St Paul pointed out:

    1 Corinthians 1:22-25

22 Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23 but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24 but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

So the Christian hangs with Christ on the Cross and is Crucified with Him so that they may rise with Him.

This is particularly so for the Contemplative. The Contemplative vocation is to be love at the Heart of the Church. To Die with Christ in the hiddeness of the Contemplative Tomb.

    VERBI SPONSA
    Instruction on the Contemplative Life
and on the Enclosure of Nuns

    INTRODUCTION

    1. The Church as Bride of the Word shows forth in an exemplary way in those dedicated to a wholly contemplative life the mystery of her exclusive union with God. For this reason the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation Vita Consecrata presents the vocation and mission of cloistered nuns as “a sign of the exclusive union of the Church as Bride with her Lord, whom she loves above all things”, (1) showing how they are a unique grace and precious gift within the mystery of the Church's holiness.

In their undivided attention to the Father's word: “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased” (Mt 3:17), and in their loving acceptance of that word, cloistered nuns are always “with Him on the holy mountain” (2 Pt 1:17-18). Fixing their gaze upon Christ Jesus, shrouded in the cloud of God's presence, they wholly cleave to the Lord. (2)

Cloistered nuns see themselves especially in the Virgin Mary, (3) Bride and Mother, figure of the Church; (4) and sharing the blessedness of those who believe (cf. Lk 1:45; 11:28), they echo her “Yes” and her loving adoration of the Word of life, becoming with her the living “memory” of the Church's spousal love (cf. Lk 2:19, 51). (5)

The esteem which the Christian community has always had for cloistered contemplative women has deepened with the rediscovery of the contemplative nature of the Church herself and of the call addressed to every Christian to enter a grace-filled encounter with God in prayer. Nuns, in living the whole of their life as “hidden with Christ in God” (Col 3:3), realize in a supreme way the contemplative vocation of the entire Christian people, (6) and thus they become a luminous sign of the Kingdom of God (cf. Rom 14:17), “glory of the Church and wellspring of heavenly graces”. (7)

Essentially then in rejecting the Contemplative Vocation the Vatican is rejecting the Cross. In rejecting the Cross of course, we Reject Christ.

Yes, I agree. After many years of struggling with this, I found my answer in tradition.
I used to be a reader at our largest city's Cathedral. I enjoyed reading to hundreds of parishioners at the young adult's Novus Ordo Mass. I would never have dared changing the readings, though. Instead, I got told off by the nun in charge for genuflecting before entering the altar. This was too pious!
Now I attend the Traditional Latin Mass and I just sit in the pews. No more self-importance. I love it.
To any young man who wishes to enter a seminary, I would normally recommend one of the Ecclesia Dei groups. But of course now they are also under attack. :(
Please dear forum members, please pray for the holy prelate according to our Lady of Good Success, and for ending the genetic manipulation and the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart (Fatima miracle day coming up), and for the traditional and contemplative Holy Orders, especially for the Carmelites whom I love, and perhaps if you could spare a prayer for me, I am still very depressed. :( Last time you all did this, it gave me quite a boost!
    God bless you all.

I love this film. I had a chance to visit La Grande Chartreuse in 2014 and we had a look into the cell of a monk, just like in the film. It was so holy.

The Carmelites are pretty close friends of God. I'd step carefully if I were him!

    words vs actions...

Holy Father defied the prophets of doom who predict that the future of consecrated life is short and running out, saying these pessimistic views are destined to be disproved, because consecrated life is an integral part of the Church, just as Jesus wanted it, and the Spirit continually generates it. “Therefore, we must avoid the temptation to worry about surviving, instead of living fully by welcoming the grace of the present, even with the risks that this entails.”

Pope Francis reminded the Discalced Carmelites that theirs is essentially a contemplative life, in the spirit of the great Carmelite saints Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross, and others.

Faithful to this gift, Carmelite life, he said, is “a response to the thirst of contemporary man, who deep down is thirsting for God, thirsting for the eternal and many times does not understand it, is looking for it everywhere”.

If a dog wants to eat a hot meal he licks around and eats what is cooler around the edge of the plate first, then moves unto the middle of the plate, leaving the hottest food to the end.

Currently the Traditional Contemplatives are being eaten as they are easier to digest. The hotter, less readily digestible fare will be eaten later.

I have learnt to Judge our present Holy Father, rather as I do the Devil, less by what he says than what he actually does.

Please tell me what is actually happening to the contemplatives? This is such a long video with no subtitles so hard for me to watch.

So far no one knows for certain. The sisters are told to expect a visitation from Rome and as it’s unexpected, three of the community travel to Rome to find out more and (importantly) scope out support among senior clergy.

They do meet with sympathy although no details are given and they report many graces. Archbishop Vigano has commented at some length imputing satanic action against the spiritual shock troops.

It looks very much as if Rome is going after the contemplatives as it did the Franciscans of the Immaculate. I don’t know if these American Carmelites have the TLM but it seems likely as they are being targeted. The narrator says that modernist thought regards the contemplatives as wasting time as they don’t have an active apostolate.

We are urged to pray for the enclosed orders and make a novena to St Teresa of Avila whose feast day is nine days away!

I’ve summarised with my own words. The nuns are concerned that their way of life will fall foul of the current leadership in the church although they don’t actually say so.

Edit: As I was posting WCWTC above posted a link that has the entire issue. The text with the video has a summary of it. Shocking, just almost unbelievable.

My best friends daughter is one of the 25 cloistered Carmelite nuns in Fairfield. Listen to their chaplain in the video WCWTS posted above. All he says, and more importantly what he implies as a faithful priest, is unfortunately true...

If you think you are praying and fasting enough, you’re not. Double down and strap up. This is The Vatican doing this

actually it’s the opposite. In this case he’s going after the heart of the matter first

these 25 nuns have done more than all of us combined x 1000 to hold off the evil that will overcome us soon.

I agree with you about the Carmelites and the strength of their prayers. That is the truth. We have a Carmel here in Southern Maryland. We know.
