(unable to download the full picture because of size) This is part of a picture of an extreme liberal Argentine Rabbi called Sergio Bergman, born 1962 in Buenos Aires, who is a close friend, admirer and confidant of the Pope whom he describes as his ‘rav’ (rabbi). The Pope has endorsed books written by Sr. Bergman who served two terms as Minister of the Environment in the Argentine government. Bergman is apparently a great ‘fan’ of the encyclical ‘Laudato Si’ as well as an occasional attender at ceremonies in honour of the South American ‘earth goddess’, ‘Pachamama’.
