This Pope has completely lost the plot - I think he has some form of neurological problem - pray for his soul - his brain is unhinged perhaps due to senility.

How embarrasing as a Catholic to read this - he is like the 'trendy' Father Ted chatting to kids about sex.

Pope says using Tinder is 'normal,' talks inclusivity in Disney documentary
    • In a conversatio on on pornography and masturbation opened by a young woman who says she creates adult content, the pope said that "expressing yourself sexually is a richness," but that "everything that diminishes real sexual expression diminishes you too, it makes you partial, and it impoverishes that richness."
    • the church's "catechesis on sex is still in diapers."
    • "I don't have the right to cast anyone out from the church," said the pope, referring to members of the LGBTQ community. "My job is to receive, always.
    • The pope said he instructs priests ministering to women who have had abortions to "not ask many questions and be merciful, like Jesus is."
    • Asked by a self-described nonbinary person about the treatment of LGBTQ people in the church, Francis said people who use the Gospel to sow hate "live to condemn others because they don't know how to ask forgiveness for their own faults."

PS - Bishops of the world waken up and correct this man.

    Sigh.

He will be going before the Judgement Seat soon, poor man.

Prayers. I don't think he is mad or unhinged at all. He knows exactly what he is saying and doing...and he will be Judged accordingly.

Makes me so grateful that Jesus gave us the Catholic Church. He HIMSELF will defend it (as He promised) even if it's own members will not, and see that the Truth is passed down intact to all generations, just as it has been given intact to our generation. Also the Sacraments are passed down intact to all generations. Whatever the Catholic Church looks like to us, good or bad, we have the Truth and the Sacraments, and those are the lifegiving tools to our salvation.

Those using the Bible to promote hate speech and exclude gay or transgender Catholics are “infiltrators” taking advantage of the Church to promote their ideologies, Pope Francis has told a group of young adults.

Those people are infiltrators,” he replied. “They are infiltrators who use the Church for their personal passions, for their personal narrowness. It’s one of the corruptions within the Church. Those narrow-minded ideologies.”

    Sigh.

Prayers for our poor Holy Father.

God is very patient with him. So I suppose we must be patient too.

Although I recall one time St Catherine asked God the Father a question. She asked Him why He permitted some great sinners to get away with so much without punishing them?

To which Go replied that He allowed them to go deeper and deeper into sin so that He could punish them by sending them deeper and deeper into Hell.

Our Holy Father is on an express Elevator downwards.

I feel like running to the hills to find a cave to hide in for what is coming soon down upon our heads.

Scripture shows that the people get Judged for the behaviour of their Leaders. Especially those of their Religious Leaders.

Our present Holy Father has left us a huge Bill of Justice to pay.

It helps me to remember that persons that WANT to know the Truth will be able to find it. If you truly want to obey Jesus, and do His Will, and receive the Truth and the Sacraments, you will do so. So many leave the Church saying it's not like it used to be. Or say they went to Catholic school and didn't learn anything so why bother now? Well I say, "You are an adult now and still have the ability to learn! What is more important in this life than learning about your Creator and Salvation?" If these people suddenly became interested in say, engineering, they would take up the study as an adult, and not complain they do not remember the study as a child. People only want to hear what they think themselves, and only want to do what they feel like doing. The Pope is causing huge scandal and confusion, but yet those answering the call of God will still learn the Truth and repent and come to the true Church for the Sacraments.

This exactly! It's why I came into full communion with the Catholic church in 2017. Then not long after I found this forum and it's been a great blessing.

The abortion-promoting politicians aren't being denied communion. Unfortunately there is no more to say. The church is lost. L...
It is mainly only those fervant old age pensioners who sit in the pews across the world come rain or shine or sleet or snow, who keep the demon at bay. Not the church leaders, tho they might like to think so...

I have to say a lot of what Pope Francis says constitutes, in Modern Language, 'Hate Speech.' Or as we say in Ireland, 'Stirring the pot'.

But I try my best not to think about Our present Holy Father.

It upsets me too much. But he is a very hard guy to ignore, he is always up to something.

St Padre Pio did not tolerate people in church in poor dress.
Would he still be canonized under Pope Francis?!

    Agree.

Here’s another revealing quote that says a lot about this man’s mindset.

he noted that abortion must also be looked at "scientifically, and with a certain coldness,"

How about listening also to the Word of God and 2,000 years of tradition?
