Hi all. I am just pondering on the scripture they Jesus would come like a theif, unexpected... But surely after the chaos of th antichrist reign all Christians would be expecting him ? It also mentions the months/ days of the antichrist reign before Christ's return But I thought no one knows the day except for the father ?
Maybe try and see the scripture you quote from a different angle rather than reference it to end times doom and gloom instead see it from your own personal life journey with Christ none of us know the time, hour, date etc when Christ will call us home so therefore keep oil in your lamp and keep it lit by prayer and sacrifice, pray hope acts of kindness but most of all Do Not Worry or be afraid.
Scripture seems to indicate that a tiny remnant of Christians will be kept safe. There is the women who flees into the wilderness. Also, if the antichrist’s reign is 3.5 years. If you can’t buy or sell food without the mark of the beast, and everyone who gets it is damned, God will have to take His remnant to safety one way or another.
The time of the anti Christ comes just before the End of Time. This is not that time but the time of the Tribulation of which Jesus spoke: a time that will be the time of greatest Trouble since the beginning of the World and not to be seen again until the end of the World: Matthew 24:21 “This is going to be trouble on a scale beyond what the world has ever seen, or will see again. If these days of trouble were left to run their course, nobody would make it. But on account of God’s chosen people, the trouble will be cut short.

This makes one think maybe it is time to revisit the series of videos on Our Lady of Revelation. It was interesting how Our Lady said we should be her disciples and gather the Crosses. It did say in the videos about these times, there would be broken Crosses, along with the discarded priestly garments.
That phrase, 'Broken Crosses', is so deep and interesting. I think it means people who were presented with the Path of the Cross but refuse it? ( I am guessing it refers in a special way to those in the Clerical/Religious state who reject their vows especially regarding Celibacy and obedience)? But of course it applies to lay people too as regards of instance Marriage Vows.
