We were always taught that the second coming was Jesus coming in glory at the end of the world. But the more I look at scripture, the more it seems he comes to judge the world for a period of time . The day of the lord is marked by a blood moon, then they'll be signs in the sky with the sun and the moon . Chapter 13 of the book of the apocalypse talks about an unforgivable sin, during the reign of the antichrist?. Daniel 12 states the sacrifice will come to a end for three and a half years It also shows in some of blessed Katherine emerich writing that the " host does not rise during this period. I can't shift this thought and feel like I've been marked with 666 for committing mortal sin earlier this year. I'm praying a lot to padre pio as I'm one of his spiritual children. I'm quite distressed .
I myself can't make sense of prophecy. I see the signs of the end all around us, but there is prophecy about a fiery chastisement and a king coming. Maybe Satan is playing with our heads by making it seem like the anti-christ is around the corner. Maybe prophecy scholars are wrong about some prophecy because they come at an academic, not mystical, angle. I'd recommend you say as many rosaries as possible, get in a state of grace, and try to get a brown scapular. I don't think the mark came yet. Only when we're in heaven we'll understand God's plan.

Be assured your mortal sin has been forgiven when you confessed. Let go of it! It is a temptation of the evil one to make you question the mercy of God. Let it go!
Be at peace padrepiofan. If these writings disturb you to such an extent I would suggest leaving them for others and focusing your attention on the message of Christ in the gospels. What is God's nature but mercy?
The priest acts in persona Christi in the confessional. Jesus Himself forgives us. It says in Scripture that if our sins were as scarlet, they will be white as snow. If we have true contrition, and have confessed everything to the best of our ability, when that arm comes down, we are forgiven. It also is beneficial to our souls to go to Confession frequently. Monthly or more frequently. Peace be with you.
I believe going to the following passage and reflecting on it, is an anecdote to getting caught up in timetables and bad times. This is a commitment I plan on making for the rest of the year, to read this on Monday mornings, to ask what verse was lived out well in the last week and which wasn't. If one of them seems irrelevant to you pass it by for now, but there is much wisdom for daily life. This is where the rubber meets the road. Especially true is v.20, I believe. I spend too much time figuring out who the enemy is in order to avoid them, while Paul is telling me to meet them halfway! Romans 12:9 Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; 10 love one another with brotherly affection; outdo one another in showing honor. 11 Never flag in zeal, be aglow with the Spirit, serve the Lord. 12 Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. 13 Contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality. 14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; never be conceited. 17 Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all. 18 If possible, so far as it depends upon you, live peaceably with all. 19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord." 20 No, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head."21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Another stunning example of how radical, yet loving the Gospel is: Jesus makes a reference to the oppressive Romans making the Jews carry the soldier's burdens. How does He tell us to react to the oppressor? Matthew 5:38 You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' 39 But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also; 40 and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well; 41 and if any one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42 Give to him who begs from you, and do not refuse him who would borrow from you. 43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you salute only your brethren, what more are you doing than others? Be at peace Padrepiofan. If you have gone to confession and sincerely repented of your sin, it is forgiven. We have that certain promise from Jesus Christ. The devil is renowned for torturing us with the lie that our sin has not been forgiven. The way to punish the evil one for doing this to us is to remember the devil is damned for all eternity, while we/you have been assured of eternal salvation as long as we confess our sins and seek to keep the Ten Commandments. Yes, yes, yes! We all need to study and take these verses to heart. What a difference it would make in our attitudes and what a light we would be to the world! This right here is the antidote to all of our fear and worries. Thank you.
When I first had my conversion about 25 years ago, I read the whole Bible and understand your fear. BUT as I was led more and more to trusting Christ and His Catholic Church, I started reading the Catechism more and more, and that sin against the Holy Spirit and most of my misgivings are explained. It's NOT over til it's over, and you are still alive so you are not condemned. It sounds to me that you are not feeling like you have truly repented from that mortal sin, and so you don't feel your confession or Absolution and forgiveness from Christ was valid. Sometimes feelings can take us away from Truth, and we need some good spiritual help with that. I would advise going back to Confession and telling your priest that you have already confessed this sin, but are not feeling forgiven and need some help. Or you could do some penance yourself by fasting, not engaging in something you enjoy, ect... I would suggest a good helpful book like the free link below! Just before the pandemic came, I had given my priest a book I wanted comment on. It took a long time to get it back because of the shut down and all, but his words were "Have no fear." Oh, it was a book about the coming end and what it might be like for the US. Anyway, his comment was to trust in God, and have no fear of the future. If we trust God, we will know that He will guide us through all things. Not around them, but through them. It may seem scary at times, but we are asked to fear not. Ever read the book "The Hiding Place" by Corrie ten Boom? It speaks how she and one of her sisters were in a concentration camp during the second world war. Their crime? Helping the Jews. Both women were in their 50's at the time. Her sister, Betsy, would die there. It's an awesome story about how God is God even in the darkest hell that man can come up with. So, don't be afraid of the end times. Trust in God and His holy Church. We are not yet perfect, but we will be made perfect so we can enter heaven when our time comes.
