Christ is Risen….. He is Truly Risen! Not just an historical fact, but a reality fir each one of us this very day. He has descended into our personal “hells “ to take us out of them. The tomb is empty. Time to leave our tombs of sin, loss, worries, fears, and join Our Resurrected Savior in paradise. Oh Death, Where is Your Sting. Happy Easter to you all.
I spoke to my grandmother today via video call, even though she has dementia she was speaking lucidly and was happy; it was a great blessing; I appreciate the prayers of those who prayed for her when I asked here on the Forum.
On Holy Saturday and today (Easter Sunday) the corpuses on two crucifixes I have near the kitchen sink have each become detached and fallen off. I reattached them and thought nothing of it, but then when I was sweeping the kitchen floor, I found that the corpus that I wear on a Saint Benedict's Crucifix necklace had fallen off, as well. Jesus seems to be telling me that He is no longer on the cross. I don't know if this sign is a signal grace for this season of Easter or if He is about to accomplish some larger action in our days. Anyone else notice anything similar?
Well...on Good Friday, my 2 year old found my crucifix and used it as a hammer, breaking it into multiple pieces . I don't know if that counts, heh. It was a bit of a shocker though, because he usually kisses Jesus very sweetly every time he gets a hold of a crucifix. I don't think he realized it was going to break.
It is definitely puzzling, Purple flower. Since I posted that, the corpus has fallen off three more times from the crucifix by the kitchen sink. Not sure what to make of this. No earthquakes or seismic activity to shake it off. Wondering, what, if anything, it means. God bless A really interesting post from a blog is included in this post https://forge-and-anvil.com/2022/04/16/the-crucifixion-and-the-walking-dead/
I am noticing the cherry trees so much this Easter. I was passing a Church this morning which has a lovely row of pink cherry trees outside. I love to see them bloom each years, carpeting the ground with a vivid pink. This year up until now I missed them somehow. But this morning I did notice. I was no longer blind to them. Breathtakingly beautiful. Cherry trees are so Easter. There is a Park of them in Japan where, when they bloom , people from all over the country and the World come to see them. Cherry trees are of Heaven.
I love this beautiful song/video. Thank you for posting this miker, I never heard this song or artist before but I plan on sharing this with many. Padraig, My husband and I were just commenting about our weeping cherry tree being in full bloom for Easter then I read your post. Our tree is relatively small but it is so beautiful, it's a true blessing! He has risen, alleluja!

Jesus lives forever to intercede for us!
I love meditating on this during the Easter season! Better yet, memorize it! 1 Peter1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and to an inheritance which is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God’s power are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In this you rejoice, though now for a little while you may have to suffer various trials, 7 so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold which though perishable is tested by fire, may redound to praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8 Without having seen him, you love him; though you do not now see him you believe in him and rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy. 9 As the outcome of your faith you obtain the salvation of your souls.
