When did the Exodus occur? Perhaps some of you have seen IP's latest trilogy on the Exodus in which he argues for a late-date theory. There are a few issues I have with it, but I also find some other arguments he made quite compelling. The two arguments that I find particularly compelling are the fact that Egypt's Capital should have be close to the Land of Goshen at that time and thus, at Pi-Ramesses; and the fact that there was a population explosion in Israel in 1200 BC which is discussed in IP's latter video below:

A third thing that I find goes in favour of a late-date theory, is that the Conquest of Canaan allegedly happened roughly around the same time as the 1200 BC Bronze Age Collapse (which I think the coming Chastisement is going to resemble), where most of the major Pagan Civilizations of that time fell, I find it rather fitting that it supposedly coincided with that event.

But what do the early-date theorists say regarding this? Does anyone have any expertise in this area?

I think I've said this before but I do have a fair amount of interest in the Exodus, as my life seems a lot like it; escaping a "life" of spiritual slavery and following Our Blessed Mother, the Living Ark through the wilderness to our True Promise Land; and now we seem to be approaching a Joshua's Conquest/Bronze Age Collapse event.

This isn't about the timing of the Exodus per se, but it does have information that reasonably points to the exact location the Israelites crossed the Red Sea:

How Moses Crossed the Gulf of Aqaba into Arabia
Recent college geology final project by Judy Gassett 18 slides. The purpose of the project was to apply geological concepts to natural real-world geological structures or events. I chose the "Red Sea" Crossing, which turns out was never the Red Sea. The geology explains why.

Preceding the Exodus is the 7 years famine event in Israel - forcing Israelites - with the help of Joseph - to go to Egypt for Food..

very Roughly 1450 BC .. The huge Santorini / Thera Volcanic event in the Eastern Mediterranan most likely made for very cold conditions .. which affected food supplies- ergo, famine / hunger.

Exodus has been guesstimated to have occured very roughly as late as 1270 BC .. which could tie into population explosions in Israel roughly 1200 BC
