    A Haunting in Connecticut

I've seen this on the Discovery Channel - a Haunting in Connecticut. It's excellent.

Its hard to know what exactly happened here, but I'd make a guess as follows: Jesus said that when a demon leaves a person who is possssed it, 'Wanders in waterless places', seeking another place to love. I think what happened was a person who was fully possessed by a group of demons died and was brought to the funeral parlour and the demons congregation round the body ended up travelling along with the body to the funeral home were they remained. So it was not really a case of a ghost but of demonic infestation of the house. With the young lad they were trying to find a new home.

The family were very blessed that they were Catholic as it gave them a large amount of protection. There sufferings and faith assisted in over coming these devils.

A similiar thing happened in Belfast about twenty years ago and there was a little book written about it. In the end the house had to be demolished. The family had the difficulty getting Church aid, in fact local priests admitted they were too afraid to confront the problem. At least they were honest about it. Its part of the great sadness of our times that our clergy have no real faith underpinnings to confront matters of evil or the miraculous or supernatural. So much so really that they fly in the face of the traditional teachings of the Church in the matter. We need not only priests ,we need priests of a strong and active faith. People who BELIEVE.
