I was given a strong warning in prayer last night to prepare for something terrible that is soon to happen in the Church and the World shortly. We are avout to asked to make a compromise in our Faith , which if we accept we will no longer be Catholic . If we accept this compromise we will no longer be part of the true Church. If we accept this compromise it will mean we will be denying Jesus Himself . We will be spitting on the Cross . At the end of the day it is our conscience, grace aided reason we must follow . Bishops, Priests , Cardinals , even the Pope himself may tell us this compromise or series of compromises are fine. They most certainly will not be a d will be very offensive to the most High God. So they must be refused, at once and entirely. The Church Authorities will be keenly aided by the SecularPowers in enforcing these things and the vast majority of Catholics wi band the knee. We must prepare to pay very very high price for saying a firm no. We must get set for these things. As they say in Scripture, we must gird our loins .
You know all these things remind me of the need for humility. How totally we depend on the grace of God
Could be the prophecy of Pope Benedict... Ratzinger's forgotten prophesy on the future of the Church https://www.lastampa.it/vatican-ins...ophesy-on-the-future-of-the-church-1.36121981 "A restructured Church with far fewer members that is forced to let go of many places of worship it worked so hard to build over the centuries. A minority Catholic Church with little influence over political decisions, that is socially irrelevant, left humiliated and forced to “start over.”
yesterday it came to my mind that the bishops' vestments will change after the synod on synodality, somehow symbolizing an even more drastic reform in the Church.
Anns Catherine Emmerich speaks of a terrible compromise that was being asked of clergy. Very old and very young priests were weeping. The rest were going along with it but these priests could not. I will try to find the quote.
Our Lady of Akita too warned us regarding compromises... "The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres...churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises and the demon will press many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the Lord."
Maybe something to read thru given the times we are in..... Letter from Fr. Demaris to Catholics Who Have Been Deprived of a Priest Dear Children, 1. In the midst of human vicissitudes and the havoc of shock to the feeling, you voice your fears to your Father and ask for a rule of conduct. I’m going to show you and try to instill into your souls the consolation you need. 2. Jesus Christ, the Model of Christians, teaches us by his conduct, what we must do in the painful situation in which we find ourselves, and St. Luke tells us (Chapter 13:31) that some Pharisees, coming to Our Lord, said “Go away from here, Herod wants to have you put to death.” He answered, ‘Go tell that fox that I have yet to chase out demons and give health to the sick, today and tomorrow and the third day my life shall be finished. Anyway, I must carry on today and tomorrow and the next day and a prophet must die only at Jerusalem.” 3. You are frightened, my children, at what you see: all that you hear is frightening, but be consoled that it is the will of God being accomplished. Your days are numbered. His Providence watches over us. 4. Cherish those men who appear to you as savages. They are the means which Heaven uses in its plans, and like a tempestuous sea, they will not pass the prescribed line against the countering and menacing waves. The stormy turbulence of revolution which strikes right and left, and the sounds which alarm you are the threats of Herod. Let it not deter you from good works, nor change your trust, nor wither the shower of virtues which tie you to Jesus Christ. He is your model, The threats of Herod do not change the course of his destiny. 5. I know you can be deprived of your freedom that one can even seek to kill you. I would say to them what St. Peter said to the first faithful, What pleases God is that with a view to pleasing Him, we should endure all the pain and suffering given to us unjustly. What glory would you have if it were for your sins you endured maltreatment? But if in doing good, you suffer with patience that is pleasing to God. For this is why you have been called, since Jesus Christ has suffered for us, leaving you an example to follow … He, who had committed no sin; Whose mouth no wrong had spoken: When heaped with curses gave none in return; when ill-treated made no threats, but gave Himself into the hands of one who judged Him unjustly.” (1 Peter 2: 19-23)....... St Athanasius spoke of this centuries ago when they went through the same kind of thing: https://www.newadvent.org/fathers/28161.htm 1. Of all other heresies which have departed from the truth it is acknowledged that they have but devised a madness, and their irreligiousness has long since become notorious to all men. For that their authors went out from us, it plainly follows, as the blessed John has written, that they never thought nor now think with us. Wherefore, as says the Saviour, in that they gather not with us, they scatter with the devil, and keep an eye on those who slumber, that, by this second sowing of their own mortal poison, they may have companions in death. But, whereas one heresy, and that the last, which has now risen as harbinger of Antichrist, the Arian, as it is called, considering that other heresies, her elder sisters, have been openly proscribed, in her craft and cunning, affects to array herself in Scripture language , like her father the devil, and is forcing her way back into the Church's paradise — that with the pretence of Christianity, her smooth sophistry (for reason she has none) may deceive men into wrong thoughts of Christ — nay, since she has already seduced certain of the foolish, not only to corrupt their ears, but even to take and eat with Eve, till in their ignorance which ensues they think bitter sweet, and admire this loathsome heresy, on this account I have thought it necessary, at your request, to unrip 'the folds of its breast-plate ,' and to show the ill savour of its folly. So while those who are far from it may continue to shun it, those whom it has deceived may repent; and, opening the eyes of their heart, may understand that darkness is not light, nor falsehood truth, nor Arianism good; nay, that those who call these men Christians are in great and grievous error, as neither having studied Scripture, nor understanding Christianity at all, and the faith which it contains. 2. For what have they discovered in this heresy like to the religious Faith, that they vainly talk as if its supporters said no evil? This in truth is to call even Caiaphas a Christian, and to reckon the traitor Judas still among the Apostles, and to say that they who asked Barabbas instead of the Saviour did no evil, and to recommend Hymenæus and Alexander as right-minded men, and as if the Apostle slandered them. But neither can a Christian bear to hear this, nor can he consider the man who dared to say it sane in his understanding. For with them for Christ is Arius, as with the Manichees Manichæus; and for Moses and the other saints they have made the discovery of one Sotades , a man whom even Gentiles laugh at, and of the daughter of Herodias. For of the one has Arius imitated the dissolute and effeminate tone, in writing Thaliæ on his model; and the other he has rivalled in her dance, reeling and frolicking in his blasphemies against the Saviour; till the victims of his heresy lose their wits and go foolish, and change the Name of the Lord of glory into the likeness of the 'image of corruptible man ,' and for Christians come to be called Arians, bearing this badge of their irreligion. For let them not excuse themselves; nor retort their disgrace on those who are not as they, calling Christians after the names of their teachers , that they themselves may appear to have that Name in the same way. Nor let them make a jest of it, when they feel shame at their disgraceful appellation; rather, if they be ashamed, let them hide their faces, or let them recoil from their own irreligion. For never at any time did Christian people take their title from the Bishops among them, but from the Lord, on whom we rest our faith. Thus, though the blessed Apostles have become our teachers, and have ministered the Saviour's Gospel, yet not from them have we our title, but from Christ we are and are named Christians. But for those who derive the faith which they profess from others, good reason is it they should bear their name, whose property they have become.
I've been feeling similarly and wondering if October 13th will be significant due to it's association with both Akita and Fatima.
These are very, very hard and difficult times. Even great Saints like St Catherine of Sienna and St Padre Pio would be puzzled and confused by them. Nevertheless when we die and face the Judgement Seat of God it will be no good saying to Him, 'Father so and so told me...of Bishop so and so told me or even Pope so and so told me to go for it..' We have consciences. Which are grace aided reason. What we are about to be told to agree to goes against even Natural Human Law. We will know it is wrong. We will know it in our deepest being. A Good Child would know these things are wrong. Blaming Popes or anyone else for going along with it just won't hold at the Judgement Seat. Be warned. Don't do it. Just say a simple, 'No'.
Well I have looked on line for that part if her visions and can't find it even though I found many other very pertinent visions. She has one vision recounted of a procession of bishops deformed in ways that showed their sins and failures--one with no head, one with a huge head etc. She went on to say there were only a handful of sound bishops. Also clear vision of the pope old and frail and basically imprisoned but very powerful in prayer assisted by angels and saints. Worth reading. Sorry I couldn't source the original vision I cited. April 12, 1820 “I had another vision of the great tribulation. It seems to me that a concession was demanded from the clergy which could not be granted. I saw many older priests, especially one, who wept bitterly. A few younger ones were also weeping. But others, and the lukewarm among them, readily did what was demanded. It was as if people were splitting into two camps…” May 13, 1820 “I saw also the relationship between the two popes. . . I saw how baleful (harmful) would be the consequences of this false church. I saw it increase in size; heretics of every kind came into the city (of Rome). The local clergy grew lukewarm, and I saw a great darkness…” “Then the vision seemed to extend on every side. Whole Catholic communities were being oppressed, harassed, confined, and deprived of their freedom. I saw many churches closed down, great miseries everywhere, wars and bloodshed. A wild and ignorant mob took violent action. But it did not last long…” “Once more I saw that the Church of Peter was undermined by a plan evolved by the secret sect [Freemasons], while storms were damaging it. But I saw also that help was coming when distress had reached its peak. I saw again the Blessed Virgin ascend on the Church and spread her mantle [over it].” More at: http://www.jesusmariasite.org/blessed-anne-catherine-emmerich-prophecy-on-the-two-popes/
This line from the movie "Kingdom of Heaven" has stayed with me for years. When the "powers that be" started with that phrase "we're all in this together", it struck me that they were not at all sincere. We are all in "this" together, but to help each other to our final destination - heaven. At the very end, we really must remember we are going to stand before the Just Judge all by ourselves. "A King may move a man, a father may claim a son, but remember that even when those who move you be Kings, or men of power, your soul is in your keeping alone. When you stand before God, you cannot say, "But I was told by others to do thus." Or that, "Virtue was not convenient at the time." This will not suffice. Remember that." King Baldwin IV in Kingdom of Heaven
