I had a very vivid and unusual dream last night. I dreamt I was walking through the Port area of Belfast with an older man I have never met before but recall very well with my trusty dog. As I looked down the road , in the distance I heard and saw a large group of people shouting and pointing at the sky. Not only that but I heard others from a near by shopping centre shouting and others all around. Naturally curious I told my strange friend and we started to walk quicker, we could not see the sky were they were pointing because of tall buildings on each side. Suddenly it struck me that this might be the Great Sign to come and I began to run very hard, selfishly leaving my older companion behind but warning him to hurry. I reached a gap in the buildings and looked at the sky and it was blue and clear, nothing to be seen. Then sudddenly and with immense speed the sun shot down and was in the middle of the sky in front of me, full , but not hurting my eyes. I heard roaring all around as people watching, shocked and awed as the sun literally danced before me. Then the sky went dark and I saw many , many stars falling like diamonds through the sky. As I watched I was filled with awe and thought, 'This can only be from God'. Then I was full of remorse thinking for all the thought and prayer I gave to knowing about all this I should have been more accepting and open. I heard two women having a conversation about this far away. One was saying that she remembered reading about this and trying to recall. I felt a deep sympathy for everyone as they were astonished and amazed and hadn't a clue what was happening. I felt sad wondering how I could explain to all these people the meaning of all this. Then I stood looking at a map at a time quite a while after the sign , watching events. I was amazed to see countries going to war with each other and thought to myself, 'Well how can they do this after seeing the Sign; have they not deeply changed? Then a voice told me sadly that people have an infinite capacity for self deception. They simply put what they had seen from their minds, finding human causes and forgot and did not convert. Anyway it was very, very moving. I look forward very much to seeing this with my own eyes. Wonderful things are to come.
Padraig, The clarity and significant theme of your dream causes me to sit up and notice. Certainly, your comments about the two women is spot on and saddens my heart. The one line that strikes me most, however, is: I dreamt I was walking through the Port area of Belfast with an older man I have never met before but recall very well with my trusty dog. Though Bandit might be a dream figure representing faithfulness or a tie-in with your life today, I can't help but wonder how old Bandit is now. Also, what is the older man's role in this dream? I know in my own dream life, God has unfolded the various meanings over a period of time. It might be worth praying about. In addition, your thoughts on self-deception grabbed my attention because of today's reading from the end of John's Gospel. Even in the first century Christians were speculating and thinking they had things figured out! Human nature sure is predictable at times! Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
I have a feeling the older man who was in the dream may be someone from the forum, who of course I have never met {as I have never met a man from the forum . This is just a guess. However just out of curiousity I will describe him and if anyone recognises himself I would lo9ve to know. I would say he was about 65, a bout 5'6'' slim with black distinctive glasses black hair slicked back, kind of craggy features and of a gentle, listening desposition. He may have been a little unwell or slow on his feet. But I'll know him again when I see him as I saw him very well.
Kathleen. It was amazing it made my heart thump. Its one thing to read about such things, quite another to see it...the thought came to my mind, 'Oh there REALLY IS A GOD!! ITS ALL TRUE!' What strikes me is it came quite out of the blue. Why dream such a thing now? Times must be drawing near!! Wonderful but very awesome ; the heart thumps. The heart thumps like a little rabbit. Bobby yes, I think it was what Norman Fowler saw, but I saw it from my home city and I suspect the peoples of the whole world will see it, wherever they are. Whether believers or not.
[Well the man wasn't me as I am 5ft 9, 13 stone; and coming 47 years rapidly balding but I do have glasses with black frames ] The Warning is such a wonderful grace that is totally unmerited - it will be truely awesome - a Salvation event of Biblical proportions & we [God willing] will all be alive to see it and experience. How blessed we are to live in such times and we are also so blessed to have fore-knowledge of the illumination of conscience. I am reminded of God's act of creation and his words 'Let there be Light' - the Light of God is coming to dispel the darkness of these times - the mist and fog of unbelief will be truely dispersed. Allelulia Padraig, I knew you would be given a preview of the warning and this does not surprise me because our Lady is leading you and you have led us all on this forum dedicated to her heart. She will not leave us orphans but has a mother's heart and interest in us and will guide us through this time of darkness. At Medjugorje she has said plainly, 'this time is MY time' - how fortunate we are to have her at this time guiding us. Without her I would be completely lost and would not have been ready for the Warning as the 'oil for my lamp was low' but she won for me a great grace of conversion. Your description reminded me so much of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima - but also the stars falling reminds me of the Book of Revelation chapter 6 [and you also wrote about the opening of the 6th seal recently] {6:12} And when he had opened the sixth seal, I saw, and behold, a great earthquake occurred. And the sun became black, like a haircloth sack, and the entire moon became like blood. {6:13} And the stars from heaven fell upon the earth, just as when a fig tree, shaken by a great wind, drops its immature figs. {6:14} And heaven receded, like a scroll being rolled up. Yesterday on the way to work the mist was thick but all of a sudden as I passed Dromara the mist disappeared and the sun lit the whole countryside in resplendance - so with the warning the fog of confusion will be lifted and the Light of God will shine. Padraig - you also saw a map - were you able to work out which countries were involved in war?

Wow, it's as if those verses are written for this time that we are living through! The blind will see and the deaf will hear for the Lord is the Holy One of Jacob and we shall glorify the God of Israel. Padraig, your dream lifted me this weekend and touched me deeply & perhaps this is a sign that prophecy is for the upbuilding of the Body of Christ [and not for unbelievers]. I have been praising God all weekend & joy is in my heart for we serve a truely awesome God.
I too have felt light and encouraged by the dream and the prospects to come. God is showing up everywhere and people around me are really starting to talk about Him. My oldest son is getting messages of confirmation left and right. He is a protestant, and as of the last few years rather a cold one at that, but he is going in on Monday to talk with our priest about what's happening in his life. What great hope this is, God is merciful and so generous. I feel this Pentecost has been a real wake up for many around me, myself included!
Bobby the Word of God is like a wine glass, so full of the Truth of the Spirit that it overflows. These words of the prophet relate to the coming of the Lord, firstly the Incarnation but in this it also refers to the Second Coming which time we enter the Dawn of with the Breaking of the Sixth Seal, thus the prayers of generations of believers is answered, 'Marana tha', 'Come Lord Jesus'.

Knowing my own tendancy to pursue the wrong things and forget . . . this is pretty much how I imagine a lot of people will respond. Some will be zealous for a while, then revert to their old ways. Some will deny all that happened from the get-go. Yet, there will be those who convert and stay converted. At least that's how I imagine things will play out. Stars falling like diamonds . . . both beautiful and terrifying . . . that'd be something to see.

Agreed. The Franciscans have been living the messages - those who live the messages become holy - it's really that simple as our Lady is the headmistress in the Medjugorje school of holiness.
Amazing this was 13 years ago. Time seems to fly by yet some things seem to move so slowly. I suppose that is God's mercy, giving everyone the opportunity to turn to his mercy before it's too late.
