Has anyone here come across this? A nun in Colombia alleges she had an apparition of Pope Benedict on 2 February, in which he gave her his testimony of his final years and the truth about his 'retirement' and death, and the true character of Pope Francis. I'm not sure what to make of it. Could be the product of a vivid imagination, or a fabrication, but makes for fascinating reading. Discernment needed, obviously!

The article is very long and some paragraphs are repeated in the middle of it. Also, the alleged message was translated from Spanish into German and then into English so some words and phrases are off.

Edited: I've removed the original link as the message contained some very serious allegations which I don't want to be responsible for spreading.

I just read the complete testament as given to the nun. I know we must exercise discernment but this makes complete sense when we see what's going on in Rome. I was at Mass in my parish this evening. Our parish priest at the end of his homily said I have something important to say. He said I sense some new movement is happening in our church. In the past few years we have all been distressed by what we see happening as the church crumbles around us but now there is something new. We are somewhere in the desert but Jesus is leading us to something new.
I was gobsmacked by what he said so openly. That's why I have no problem believing this.

the accusation made against Georg Gänswein is extremely serious; and false witness is a mortal sin; I would be very careful with that ...

Not only the accusation made against Ganswein, but against Pope Francis.
I believe this could be heinous, if fabricated. Yes, a mortal sin.

This may be totally fabricated. Best not to read or support in any way.

I'm not convinced; also, there is one place where the male pronoun, him, is used in a sentence three times in a nonsensical manner. It's a little thing, but you would think one would have proofread and corrected it.

    It’s too long, too detailed
    That disqualifies it imho

Tired of reading about these alleged apparitions. I’m going to skip this one.

The date of this message was February 2nd, the Feast of the Presentation. This is the date of the 1st apparition of Our Lady of Good Success and, according to Father Blount, the date associated The Flame of Love messages to Elizabeth Kindelmann. Father Blount says its a sign that the Flame of Love is related to Our Lady of Good Success. And now this....if it's true.

    So depressing.

So many false apparitions and false messages.

Have people nothing better to do with their lives to pretend to be messengers of God - so much time and effort wasted in attention seeking, in wanting to be a seer and a conduit of God - self-serving, deceitful, boasters, lacking the grace of God, hollow shells, white-washed sepulchres. We don't even know if this nun is real so the messages could be a total fabrication by a malevolent force.

    Pray the rosary.

    It is so simple.

Spiritual pride - this is at the heart of all false messages and messengers - they want to be the superstars of religion and the center of attention -

God chooses the least of the least where humility is grounded you find the truth.

Gosh, it’s long isn’t it? How can she remember all that? Nice touch about Ss Augustine and Bonaventure; favourites of Joseph Ratzinger the theologian. ‘God writes straight with crooked lines’? Slang phrases like that destroy credibility and as for Gaenswein being a traitor…. Nope. Pity, I’d have loved a genuine apparition from this wonderful pope

Thanks for all your replies, I wanted to get your thoughts and they are pretty much in line with my own thinking. I believe this is highly likely to be a fabrication but due to the seriousness of some of the allegations contained in it I'll delete this thread at the end of today.

It does make complete sense but that's what makes me doubt it. She's saying what a lot of people are thinking or want to hear. There's a guaranteed audience ready and waiting for this type of account.
