Thank you for posting this video garabandal. I miss the presence of nuns at our church, I can't even recall the last time I saw a sister in full habit. How wonderful if Sr. Whilhemena's holiness, and this blessed miracle, would inspire many vocations. :)

This is very exciting for many of us at my FSSP parish, because we have a relationship with these sisters. They came a few months ago and sang at our parish and my 4 year old daughter who insists she's going to be a nun got to meet the mother superior, who hugged her and promised to pray for her.

If a saint is incorrupt is the whole body considered a relic? I assume its forbidden to take part of the body off (drops of blood, skin etc) to use as blessed relics.
I guess logic dictates that, since incorrupt is a holy miracle, the result of ' radiating" holiness must be greater than a relic? :coffee:

I wonder if there have been any miracles for those visiting her?

The Italians and others have a very workmanlike attitude to the incorrupt and other relics. They often tend to chop them up especially if there is some kind of dispute about who owns what.

Sometimes only part of the body is incorrupt.

This is what makes the case of Mother Wilhelmina even more interesting, the whole body perfectly preserved in very difficult, even impossible circumstances together with her habit.

This is very high grade stuff indeed.

It is heaven pointing to this woman and pretty well screaming,

    PAY ATTENTION!!l

Please God send some really good devout Catholic writer or film maker down there to tell us more.

Better still I wonder if she kept a diary or other writings.

    Please God.

Well I'm no writer or film maker, but this morning my husband and I decided to pack all the kids up and drive there right now to see her!

I woke up this morning with the strong urge to go, to pray for our kids and their vocations. So I woke my husband Jeremy up and was like, "Hey you want to drive 8 hours right now to Missouri to see an incorrupt nun? I want to pray to her for our kids, especially Sophie (our 4 year old daughter), who may have a vocation with these nuns!" And he looked at me so confused and surprised.... He said I woke him up from a dream where a guy had called him from Mississippi and told him to come out for a job interview. He said, "It'll be an 8 hour drive, and you need to bring Sophie." And Jeremy had been like, "Ok, when do you want me to come?" And there was complete silence...Jeremy waited, and waited....and I woke him up to ask him if he wants to leave right now on an 8 hour drive.

Please pray for us as we'll be on the road all day and get to the hotel at bedtime. Then we'll get up early and head to the convent. Hopefully we'll be able to see Sr. Wilhelmina before 11am Mass then we'll drive home.

If anyone has any special intentions you'd like me to ask Sr. Wilhelmina for, let me know!

Oh, and the nearest hotel we could stay in is in the city of St. Joseph! We just so happen to be in the middle of a novena to St. Joseph right now! And tomorrow when we see her it'll be Pentecost, a very special feast for our family...as it's the day my husband and I first met, and the day he proposed 3 years later.

What a huge adventure! Certainly stepping out in Faith!! I am sure Mother Wilhelmina and God will be pleased by this.

If you happen to hear any stories first hand from the nuns about Wilhelmina I'd love so much to hear them. Also, since you will have a good eyeball on her is she really incorrupt as they say?

I hear thousands and thousands are already flocking there already from huge distances already.

An 8 hours drive! Wow! Such faith

PF, God always lines things up so neatly for you and your family. It’s amazing, really.
Please pray for a special intention from HH.
Thanks. Give a report when you get back and rest up.

    Wonderful!
I do have an intention since you are so kind to ask. The protection and conversion of my sons Andrew and Philip and their families. Thank you PF. Praying for your trip.

We were just at a gas station in Oklahoma for lunch, and a man started yelling angrily at someone and people were stopping and staring and gathering as this fight dragged on and escalated...and I decided to pray to Sr. Wilhelmina that the guy would calm down and leave...and immediately the man turned and looked right at me. I smiled at him and he turned around and left.

I read all about Sr. Wilhelmina to my family once we got on the road. She's going to be a saint, I'm sure of it! When she was 9, Jesus appeared to her and asked her to be His. She was told at 13 by her parish priest she should consider being a nun because he saw something in her. She tried immediately but was told she was too young. She became a nun after she graduated, and stayed traditional---the only one in her order still wearing her habit after Vatican II. Once a boy threw a knife at her and she was saved by her homemade habit! She started this current traditional Benedictine order when she was 70 years old, with the assistance of the FSSP, and lived until she was 95.

They say there is a light arena of flowers around her body, the aroma of sanctity watch out for that...
plus if you here any reports of recent miracles.

Anyway praying everything turns out well for you all, it sounds like the trip of a lifetime

I admire your faith in doing this; I am sure God will honour this.

I was looking again at the pictures of her, it looks like she is still wearing the same old woolen habit she was buried in. This seems so honest, no one has tried to fancy things up and the local Bishop has been in touch with Rome, so everything looks fine.

Prayers for a safe journey PF. I would greatly appreciate it if you would ask Sister to pray for my Michael who is a filmmaker, and screenwriter. Unfortunately he is far away from his faith, and I am always praying for a miracle to bring him back to God. It sounds as though your little pilgrimage was meant to be. God bless you and your family. :)
