The Miracle that will have Ven. Pauline Jaricot declared Blessed this year, in the Spring I believe, May 22nd. It will soon be upon us.

The cure of Mayline is the miracle attributed to Pauline Jaricot. - Pauline Jaricot (opm-france.org)

Mayline, from Lyons, France and that is where Pauline was from. She also knew St. John Vianney.

Maybe Charles Foucaud too will be made into a Saint, he is very popular.

Foucauld Bio: Legacy of Charles de Foucauld – The life story and work of Blessed Charles de Foucauld

    This happened in Algeria apparently.

Charles was killed Dec.1, 1916 in the confusion of World War I, having chosen to remain among those in Tamanrasset who were too poor to flee the conflicts in the area. He had been well aware of the risk to his own life.
Unfortunately, this article reads that the Trappist Abbey in France where Foucauld was a Novice will be closing. Trappist abbey where Charles de Foucauld was a novice is closing (la-croix.com)

I really should read up on Foucauld, before I knew much about him, I must have seen his photo a number of times.

We had some of his relics at Church one day. That must have been Dec. 1st, his feast day.

I read a bio of Ven. Pauline Jaricot, it was a great book even though, it appeared to be geared towards young adults. That is some life she lived, oh, and yes, likely received a cure on visiting the shrine of St. Philomena.
