I was blessed to be on retreat this weekend with my wife…. Wonderful to get away and be spiritually fed with Reconciliation, The Eucharist, Community and catechisms! During one talk, I learned about a saint and martyr that I never knew about. His name is St. Pelagius with more details here…. https://onepeterfive.com/st-pelagius-of-cordoba-a-martyr-for-our-times/ It truly is a remarkable and heroic (in Catholic sense) story. And as article highlights , a saint needed now. Not just that he stood up for faith against Muslim onslaught but also against sins of homosexuality and I would say all of these sexual identify perversions. He could have easily gave in…. No others would have even seen it, but he chose Christ because Christ would see it. Quite heroic but what’s even more remarkable, he was only 13 years old! During the retreat I was at, it was suggested we ask St. Pelagius for his intercession for our world, especially our kids and grandkids in the face of the onslaught of these perverse sexual attacks… wokeism. I’m planning to do so.
