    Nice little video of Padre Pio - watching him always brings tears to my eyes -

    He was asked what he wanted on his tombstone - "here lies a priest who prayed".

    Padre Pio has always been my inspiration.
    The "Old Mass" was so much more a vehicle that inspired the feeling of the eternal sacrifice.

    My wife gave me a really cool Padre Pio Novena Chaplet card with a little special rosary! It has 3 sets of 5 beads.

    there are many accounts,that his body temperature was so high it would break termometers(they were mercury back then)and he needed a horse termometer.
    I dont know if this means he suffered a lot ,or that he somehow surprassed human Nature in a beneficial way. Probably it means he had fever-suffering 24\7? :unsure:
