Anyone ever heard of Francis Swank? She was an Air Force wife in the 80'-90's who was Penecostal and she started hearing our Lord and our Lady audibly. They told her to go to the Catholic Church (thats the short version) and she started having visions of the three days of darkness and really gave an in depth detail of it all. I was fascinated by her descriptions and have never forgotten it. The audio tapes which I still have were taped by Dick Pollock of Denver. She was in a hotel room with several people. She was such an innocent soul and spoke so beautifully about Fr. Gobbi and Fr. Catallao, who was the MMP representative back then before Fr. Roux. Anyone know any more about her or where she went? I know she was very private because of her family, she had young kids. I would like to get in touch with her. Can't seem to find hide nor hair of her.

I was thinking and praying about the Three Days this morning as I was walking the dogs. Is it really possible that such a thing could be;are their parallells in Scripture.? Well of course there are. The immediate one being the Darkness falling on the Earth after the death of Jesus leading up to the Ressurection. We read of a great darkness, of the dead arising and appearing to many, a great world wide Earth Quake the tearing of the veil in the Temple. In many ways these events seem very like the three days of darkness. But I think also in the Old Testament where the Chosen People are given a whole series of instructions. They are to cut down the pagan people around them, and to be ruthless in rooting out the unGoldly, for instance the sexually perverse and witches. This may seem unacceptable to us, but perhaps we have, all of us lost any real sense of the the horror of sin....
Odd as is may sound, I am more concerned more about making it to the 3 day's of darkness period. From the messages of Fatima to Garabandal to the Akita, all synonymous to each other, it will be nothing short of a miracle to have made it through all these periods of persecution and it seems to me those who have kept the faith to the climax of the 3 days of darkness will in some way rejoice that true peace is at hand.

As a teenager I loved horror movies and books, especially by the likes of Stephen King (who remains in my opinion, despite the nasty horror element, a master storyteller). To imagine living through this 3 days of darkness scenario seems to me like living out a real-life horror story. It is terrifying, my worst nightmares come true. If I am around to experience this then I need to become a whole lot holier than I am at present. A whole lot holier.
A thought came to me when reading that account.......are we certain those words are actually from Blessed Anna Maria Taigi? She lived in the late 1700s to the early 1800s, but the account speaks of covering vents and pulling blinds......I am not sure vents and blinds existed in her lifetime?
Related to the discussion of the 3 Days of Darkness... A neat thing, two non-Catholic Christian prophets (messengers) are lately hearing from Our Lord about the 3 Days of Darkness. Catholic prophecy over the years reveals the 3 Days of Darkness takes place at the END of the Great Tribulation at God's just judgment, this time by fire. Well, Pelianito, a Catholic messenger, her latest message speaks of a darkness, the 3 Days of Darkness too. So both Catholic Christian and non-Catholic Christian messengers are hearing of it and it sounds as if it is CLOSE. Are there two times of "darkness?" Someone at Pelianito's blog posted a reminder from an earlier prophet. Jesus told St. Faustina in the 1930s there would be a darkness and the world would see a cross in the sky (confirms Scripture, you will see who you have pierced) at the time of the "awakening." Fits, the "awakening" is God's mercy. Here is the message from Our Lord to St. Faustina: Diary of Saint Faustina #80 “Write this: Before I come as the Just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy. Before the Day of Justice arrives, there will be given to people a sign in the heavens of this sort:…All light in the heavens will be extinguished and there will be a great darkness over the whole earth. Then the Sign of the Cross will be seen in the sky, and from openings where the hands and feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth great lights which will light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day.”
This is a very interesting subject, thank you for bringing it up Jackie. I listened to the tapes I have from Francis Swank. After listening to them I have to agree with what Jackie is quoting. In the tapes Francis is being interviewed by 11 priests in a hotel room in Denver during a 1983 Garabandal Conference. The questions by the priests are fantastic and you can really see the Marian Movement was in full swing in 1983 and the persecution is in full swing also. Francis was Pentecostal and the Lord called her to the Catholic Church because she yearned to receive him everyday. She felt very drawn to Garabandal and felt it was absolute truth. She felt that the night of the screams what the girls experienced is what she also experienced. She didn't know what a locution was or who Fr. Gobbi was. She was being interview by Fr. Sylvester Cattalo who was Fr. Gobbi's English interpreter for North America. She was so sweet and innocent and kind. She had not read 'catholic books' per say, she was a fairly new Catholic and our Lord shared his passion with her. She had small children and was a military wife. I found her today with a little research. I will let you know if I get ahold of her. I'm going to try to call her. This is how she describes it: "I went to lay down and I went into a deep vision. I was inside my house and it was daytime and people were there visiting and someone mentions how dark it is getting outside. We step outside and my first realization is that it is moving very fast enveloping us. I put my hand in front of my face and then I cannot see it. Thats how fast and thick and immense the darkness is. We all went back inside. There was mass confusion outside. I hear the deep thunder in the sky. It is the voice of God. The thunder continues and then fire comes down from the sky, striking people. People were hiding but there was no place to hide. In the thunder I heard the person's name and then I saw the fire find them wherever they were. I also saw people trying to hide behind other people, which I was shocked at. God still found them. I want to make it perfectly clear that God does not want to do this. He tells me that he loves so much but the sins of mankind cry out for him to do something. It was so terrifying that I could not listen to the thunder anymore and begged the Lord to stop. I need to say that God told me that if we are with him we have nothing to fear. God called me out of the house and I slowly went out. There was destruction everywhere. I turned around and my house was fine. Dotted here and there were homes that were fine also. Most were completely destroyed like a bomb hit. Later our Lord spoke to me and told me that He wanted to take me back to the vision and for me to listen to the thunder. It was his voice. I went into a vision and heard the voice of God in the thunder. He was saying, "Murderers-the sins of abortion. The blood of the children cry out to him. He also said "Homosexual acts--then he said "those who did not need God-who thought they were God... it was so scary and so loud the whole world heard it. He told me that there were three signs coming. A country-men in uniforms; Russians will invade Poland. Men lined up --over 100,000 on the border of Italy. Their first step into Italy darkness will come. The Holy Father is praying and two men in uniforms (these represent evil) hold guns to his head. He is forced to flee. They are in the Vatican. Then the chastisement will come. There will be three things things happen. There will be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on all flesh. (She had never heard of the illumination of conscience.) 2. There will be great signs and wonders in the sky. 3. There will be WWIII. The Middle East and Russia will be involved in Syria aiming missiles at Israel. Our Lord says pray for Russia. She is spreading her errors. Our Lord says , "Do not be impatient in your prayers. I have placed fire and water before you. Sin no more. Pray for peace! There will be a plague before this all happens. This will remove many children before these events. There is more and I will write more later.
Padraig - the 9th plague God sent to the Egyptians was 3 days of darkness! I read this tonight and it is truly frightening account. One cannot imagine how scary this would be without having God present in our lives. But the darkness of mortal sin is even worse since the soul itself is in darkness. I wonder if the 3 days of darkness is one of the Medjugorje secrets to be announced to the world? Each plague was announced in advance to the Egyptians. Each secret is to be announced to the world also.

Well, just got off the phone with Francis and spent and hour and a half talking to a very lovely lady!! We will talk more tomorrow. Wow. Wow.Wow. I spent quite a bit of time transcribing the last tape which is where she saw the Blessed Mother, heard from Jesus and saw five angels from the book of Revelation. There are a few words that she says on tape that I could not translate so I put a question mark for the word....Here it is: Francis Swank- Tape 3-Side 1 8-22-83 Blessed Mother and the Angels “I bind Satan and all the evil spirits who would come against us for the Blessed Mother has said that it can be put out now and people can be told, especially to the priests. So I ask Lord that you bind Satan and you lose the power of the Holy Spirit upon us so I do not make a mistake, so I do not say words that Satan would have me to say, but only that which are from our Blessed Mother from our Lord. I praise you and give you thanks Jesus for this answer to our prayers. I received this message on Aug. 22nd 1983 at approximately 6:35 this morning. I came downstairs and knelt in front of the statue of the blessed Mother and was saying my prayers and I looked up and the statue didn’t look like a statue she looked like she had come to life. I looked up at her and I said, “You are just a statue, you’re not the Blessed Mother.” She said, “If you don’t believe, just kiss my foot.” I knelt down and kissed her foot and it was flesh. I stood up and backed away from it and I looked at her again and then knelt back down and looked at her in the face and she started telling me some things she wanted to tell the priests and to tell others. This is what she said, and I kept wanting to go back and get a pencil and piece of paper but she kept telling me that her words came from the Lord and I would remember it so therefore I wouldn't have to write it down. And then after she told me everything she told me then I could go and write.
Then the Blessed Mother said I could give the message of the five angels that I have seen: The first Angel is a war. The Lord has given him instructions to cause great disturbances in all places. No other explanations need to be given he said. The second Angel says he will cause a great division in the Church. And I go back to when the Angel told me this…the Angel on July 20th 1983 said, "Satan is devouring many successfully, the reason is because the Lord our God wants a Church that holy. I want no marks to be upon her. There are so many who say I don’t know God’s will in my life. Be silent and listen to his word." Then the Lord said to me, “Prayer to me, but do not think prayer is enough. I desire more of you. I want you to be holy. You must rid yourself of all that is unnecessary in your lives. Too much going on in your life to spend time with me. The next question you will ask is how do I become holy? By coming to receive me as much as you possibly can. By using the sacraments instead of ignoring them. By prayer in true reparation of all sins in one’s life. Do I ask too much? Have you truly looked at how much I have given? If someone you loved deeply asked a favor of you would you turn them down? I tell you you would drop what you were doing to help that love one out, but what about me? I am your Father, your Creator, your all. And yet I ask so much. My sorrow was beat and many, but when one soul offers himself to my service how much joy comes to my heart. How the angels rejoice over this one soul. So much can be accomplished by just one soul. But do not say to me, “I will let another offer themselves”. I want yours. I love you so much I want you enjoy all that comes from heaven. Even on earth I will grant the times of a small taste of heaven to you to make the desire greater. But all I receive in return is rejection upon receiving what I give. Come to me, for I wait so patiently, I desire to fellowship with you. I will lead you and never shall you stray. I will lead you to holiness. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Put yourself behind and seek me. As I heard this from our Lord I saw the Angel who brought this message bowing as these words were spoken. Never did he lift his head nor did he move a muscle in his body with his hands crossed over his chest. He bowed in complete adoration as the Lord spoke. The Lord told me that I had to acknowledge this myself to see how the angels worship him and how we don’t give him the worship and adoration he deserves. The third Angel is the angel of Famine. The fourth Angel who came was the Angel of persecution. The fifth Angel who came said he carried the diseases and the plagues that would come upon this earth. Interviewer: Francis, what was our Blessed Mother wearing this morning when you saw her? Well, my statue is the statue of our Lady of Fatima. So she wore her white gown. On her head was light blue lace. Even though my statue has a crown and flowers on her head, she was not wearing a crown or flowers when she became real. Her face remained the same as the statue, but it was real. She was crying tears. When she was gone I went into the kitchen to write it all down and my children came into the kitchen and told me that our Lady’s statue has a tear in her left eye. The tear stayed over an hour. There is a stain now where it was. She used to look happy when I looked at the statue and now the statue doesn’t look happy. You can tell it has changed. I just received some hair from Padre Pio. (from a preist) I have been praying to see if I should have a devotion to Padre Pio and I placed the piece of paper over by the statue and left and I went to go show my friend and it looked as if the tear that had been on the statue had dripped onto the piece of paper where the priest had signed his name. The tear had created two crosses. I think I know what the answer to my prayer is now. Interviewer: Francis, you told me that our Lady told you that she would not be coming back to see you anymore, that you would not see her anymore. Could you explain? I will not see her anymore until that time. That is my death. I don’t know if she is going away for a period. I knew she would be coming to give me a message, because the last angel said she would be the one bringing me the message. That I couldn’t put anything out until she had come and then when I tried talking about it yesterday our Lord told me to hold it until I saw Our Lady and Little did I realize it was going to be today. And today is the Queenship of Mary above all things! But I know that I won’t see her anymore until it is time for me to die. It makes me wonder to, if everybody else will see her especially after the chastisement when she says, “there will be a reign of peace and my Immaculate heart will reign with my Sons”, and it makes me wonder if all will see her Immaculate heart and then will believe because that question was raised yesterday. Interviewer: Is there anything else? Francis: Just pray for the conversion of souls. Pray the rosary. Above all things pray because after seeing how sad she is about everything …because when I went back over and read everything at one point when she said men deserved to be deprived of life for having done so much to her son… it almost sounded like it was almost too cold, but understanding after I reread it, the understanding deep in my soul is that it wasn’t cold at all. That I think it’s just the fact that she has seen her Son hurt so much… and she is hurting so much along with him that she is saying that what we get for our sins is what we truly deserve… and that she has been pleading and pleading and so is her son and this can’t keep going, the hurting is too much. I don’t know how much longer she can hold him back from punishing us… but it just makes me wonder how much closer we are to the chastisement… to the warning to everything; especially since I saw her crying. It just makes me wonder how truly close are we? I want to thank the Lord for all he has done and it’s over. Satan has done a lot of attacking and the Lord was with me. All we must do is pray. We will just wait upon the Lord. We must pray as hard as we can. Whenever we feel like we are suffering and doing so much for the Lord, just look upon the cross, our suffering cannot be anything like his. It now is done and the message is finished. Stay in a state of grace. Go to confession confess everything and let nothing go un-confessed and stay in grace. I truly feel along with the girls of Garabandal that the warning is soon. To many people are feeling it inside themselves, and their spirit is restless. Many are feeling the uneasiness. We must pray so much more! (this was 1983!)
I am only guessing Bobby, but I think what happens is this. After the Warning there is a huge repentance and turning back to God. Some however do not accept and become ten times worse than they where before. A real Spiritual evil because these folks no longer have the excuse of not really believing in God. So their sins are real spiritual evil. As you point out like the Egyptians who were shown there really was a a God but chose to strive against them. Eventually like a pendulum they swing things back in their direction once again and then there is the three days. But I suspect this is many , many years away, much water under the bridge, perhaps generations.
Yes I think this is different. Anna Maria says anyone outside will be killed. Well, clearly anyone would need to be outside to see the Cross. and hence be killed. So what then would be the point of a cross in the sky? (If it got people who saw it killed?

We will have to start calling you the miracle detective Marti Thanks for the times and trouble you took over all this. It seems to be all quite true, except as Jackie says I think she is not referring to the three days. I will read and reread all this over time it is very powerful. Amazing given way back in '83/ Our Lady seems to have really kicked open doors in the early '80's We cannot complain we have not been given enough time.
Our Posts crossed over the Mid Atlantic somewhere Marti. We both posted at the same time. Thanks again for all your great trouble. These messages seem to me to be true. I am amazed they never got more prominence. Perhaps we should send them on to Michael Brown at Spirit Daily if Francis does not mind? They will take quite a lot of praying over. But as I say, they seem true and very deep.
