I may have spoken too soon. I have been sick for the past 5 days, running a low grade fever , sore throat and headache. I have now also developed ...digestive issues. I do not have a persistent cough but a nagging one. I have a heavy feeling not so much on the chest/ heart area, but more on the collar bone area. It could be just the run of the mill flu or cold, but I am concerned. I have been taking my Vitamin D, C, Zinc, Elderberry and Tylenol. At this point, I am NOT short of breath. IDK if I'm just being paranoid but more than several people that I have been around in the last week (including those that have been vaccinated and boosted as well as unvaxed) either have been diagnosed with covid or have been exposed to covid. I have signed up for a covid test but unfortunately cannot get in until next week.

I do have Ivermectin Paste and have been searching the internet on how to take it, but I can't find anything now. I think it was a 1/4 of a turn for each 50# but not sure.

Is there someone that can help me?

I think there's a short video description of how to dispense it correctly somewhere on this forum awhile long ago back. I want to know how-to, too. But unfortunately, I recall that this video did not have captioning available. I'm hearing impaired and do desire to have full transcript for this video when it's found.

This is a good resource on all things Ivermectin:

    https://www.barnhardt.biz/ivermectin/

How does one take the Horse Paste form of Ivermectin?
The tube that the horse paste comes in has a built in measuring “clicker”. For reference, one tube is a single dose for a 1250 pound horse, so you know an adult human prophylactic dose will be roughly one-sixth of a tube, and an average human aggressive treatment dose will be roughly half of a tube.

You just eat it. It does not taste good. Whatever. Just eat it.
On the graduated plunger of the tube of ivermectin horse dewormer there’s a small round collar. Just set that collar at your approximate weight, and depress the plunger till it stops at that collar, and that’s the dose. Mix that amount with some food and consume it.

I had symptoms very similar to yours from Christmas through New Years. I’m convinced it was omicron because I had frequent night sweats, which is one of the symptoms specific to omicron. However, I did use one of those home Covid antigen lateral flow tests my sister had on hand, and it was negative. But I don’t trust those tests either way.

There is a video on page 352 of the Coronavirus thread explaining how to measure the dose. Hope it's helpful. I would copy it to here but not working for me. Hope your both feeling better soon

I put the horse paste in cinnamon applesauce. It disguises the bitterness somewhat.

    Ananchal,
I’ve read that you need to get therapies early on. I’ve posted below videos on how to take ivermectin horse paste. I’m no doctor so this is a layman’s opinion. Others have posted dosing the horse paste as well.
I hope it helps and hopefully you only have the new variant that is like the flu!
Keep us posted and saying a prayer that you and the other members are doing well.

I took my first dose this morning. Thanks for the tip on the cinnamon! I’m only have regular applesauce, so I drowned it with cinnamon. Not too bad, although there was one teaspoon  Maybe mix more next time ;) I’m trying to be positive and think while I still can taste and smell there’s hope that it’s just the flu. I did order a home test online but it won’t get here till end January :(

I have found cheese to be my best friend :p any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

While I’m usually nicely stocked the past couple weeks didn’t allow me to keep my pantry the way I would like so no quercitin :(

I hate to be a pest - but how often do I take the ivermectin paste? I’ve been trying to look on past postings but I’m so exhausted. I think that and the constant headache is the most surprising

I think it's once a day for 5-7 days. That's what I did anyway and it worked great.

Chicken soup is a good comfort food with the flu! Maybe you could order it with a home delivery service if you have a restaurant nearby. Tea and honey soothes the throat as well as gargling with warm salt water. Honey throat lozenges may give your throat relief as well. The duel pain med of ibuprofens and Tylenol combined is supposed to be effective for aches, pains including headaches.
If it’s the Omni variant, I’ve been hearing that is basically 24 hours. Hope that’s all you have because they are saying that delta is on its way out. Supposably, we’re all going to get the new variant. Praying they are right that this could end this, but
    Not convinced just yet.

I took it the first day and every other day for three days total. If not better…or recovering, then continue the ivermectin for longer…just my personal protocol as a non medical person!

HH…how are you now? I’ve not been following every thread lately…just a bit off and on and wasn’t sure how you and hubby are? Praying you’re recovered!

Thank you, Beth. God answered all
prayers. We were both very sick for almost 3 weeks. I was so afraid for him because he has health issues. We both are still quite exhausted but able to rest. Up until a few days ago, he had no appetite but we are eating now. I lost 10 lbs but would not recommend this method,:D,
Thanks for asking. God is good. It wasn’t our time yet. :notworthy: We did take the horse paste, too, for about 5 days.
Another thing: I prayed the St Andrew Christmas Novena and I’m still kind of steamed because this was probably the worst Christmas of my life.
    Edit
    Popsicles, lots of fluids

Ohhhh dear ! Honestly, I think you and your husband must have had one of the worst cases of this I’ve heard of and survived! (The exception might be my brother in law)… It sounded just horrible! Three weeks! So glad you didn’t go to the hospital HH. No ivermectin there, trust me.
Well you recovered because God still has you working forHis kingdom right here and we are very grateful and happy you two are on the mend. Please take it slow…it’s been a long haul for both of you and don’t feel the need to catch up.
When you’re fully recovered, make up for what you missed. Check for delta antibodies in about five weeks! You’re a survivor, but I expected you would be!
Thank you Jesus for HH and her hubby’s recovery, even as slow as it’s been!

Amen. And because of what I learned from you, we did not go to the hospital!
I was able to have supplies delivered and my son brought stuff over and left it on the porch.
Hopefully I am going to Mass tomorrow, first time since Dec 12. And my son will be able to visit tomorrow! Yay!
