I'm looking for everyone's input on this.

My conversion, or re-conversion came about in a very profound and concrete way in my life. I have felt led over the last year or so, to write it down into book form, so as to witness to not just the supreme and divine power of Christ, but also to witness to our Blessed Mother's love and intentions for us, and Jesus' own intentions as what She does....

I have quasi started writing it down in rough form. I can't tell the good parts of my story without first explaining my upbringing and all of the bad things that have occurred in my life.

This book would expose all of my most horrible sins, things done by members of my own family and such, family relationships, and so forth.

I am of two minds on this. #1, half of me says to just do it. The other half of me says that if I do it, write it with a pen name and such, but then that defeats the purpose of the book a little bit. I'm hardly a "public" person, but by the same token, I'd be throwing it all out there in the open so to speak.

If I were to do this, it would simply be as a tool to witness and to evangelize. I don't care if I lose money along the way, the book isn't really about "me", it's about God and his amazing Mother. If it were to help one person, then IMO it would be worth it.

    Your thought....?

My two cents, if it impacts the lives of others use a pen name. I think they would have to be OK with being identified. It could have a detrimental impact on their lives. Tread csrefully

Maryrose is right. If in writing this you have to expose others' sins then I don't think that's a good idea. Wanting to tell your story and evangelize is a worthy endeavor but not if it brings public scrutiny to others. How about approaching The Journey Home? They often showcase re-verts.
    Just my 2 cents too.

If it is possible to do it without mentioning others too much, that is fine.

St Therese of Liseaux managed to write her life without mentioned the strange goings on of others too much, so it may be possible.
