I keep hearing that 2 days before the miracle something will happen to make people stop believing in garabandal. What do you think this could be?
I heard that it is a few days before the Miracle not 2 but I think that it could be due to a number of different things. Iow this is a difficult question to answer but if something goes differently than we anticipate that could be the reason. For instance, if the Warning occurs in between the time that Conchita announces the Miracle and the Miracle itself this could cause doubts. This is is just an idea off the top of my head, I think that I could think of many other reasons also but it’s all speculation. God bless Praytherosary. edited to correct typos.
I've always been puzzled by this claim, too! What if the Vatican came out and stated the Warning was not from God and the "rational" explanation of the secularists was true? Apart from something like that, nothing comes to mind. O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
Not sure where anyone got 2 or 3 days before...My understanding is it is before the miracle, but the number of days is not specified. Here is what Barry Hanratty, publisher of Garabandal magazine and someone Glen often quotes, said... "One day, a little before the Miracle, something will happen that will cause many people to stop believing in the apparitions of Garabandal. The doubts and desertions will not be due to an excessive delay of the Miracle." Link to quote: http://www.1260.org/Mary/Text/Text_Hanratty_The_Miracle_at_Garabandal_en.htm
I’ve often wondered if Joey passing without “seeing” the Miracle was what could have caused many people not to believe in Garabandal anymore. Of course it’s been almost 9 years since his death, which is not exactly a “little” before the Miracle. That event is what brought me to this website.
