    Hi folks,

On another thread we noted the need for a short, clear concise explanation of The Warning (and possible subsequent events.)

We need a brief two or three paragraph explanation of what is to come - The Warning mainly - to share now with family and friends, to prepare them for this event.

This would also prevent them from being deceived by any possible NWO / Elite attempts to explain it away by astronomical or other natural causes and so they know without a doubt the completely Catholic nature of the event and how only Catholics prophesied it.

I found one site that provides a handy list of possible elements to include:

    Warning. Summary

    Conchita about the Warning
    • The Warning is a thing that comes directly from God and will be visible throughout the entire world in whatever place anyone might be.
    • The Warning will be like a revelation of our sins — and it will be seen and experienced equally by believers and non-believers and people of any religion whatsoever.
    • The Warning is like a purification for the Miracle.
    • And it is a sort of a catastrophe. It will make us think of the dead, that is, we would prefer to be dead rather than to experience the Warning.
    • The Warning is something supernatural and will not be explained by science.
    • It will be seen and felt.
    • The Warning will be a correction of the conscience of the world.
    • For those who do not know Christ, they will believe it is a Warning from God.
    • The most important thing about that day is that everyone in the whole world will see a sign, a grace, or a punishment within themselves, in other words, a Warning.
    • They will find themselves all alone in the world no matter where they are at the time, alone with their conscience right before God.
    • They will then see all their sins and what their sins have caused.
    • We will all feel it differently because it will depend on our conscience. The Warning will be very personal, therefore, we will all react differently to it.
    • The most important thing will be to recognize our own sins and the bad consequences of them.
    • Your experience of the Warning will be different from mine because your sins are different from mine.
    • This will be a Warning to see what you have done with your sins.
    • It will be like a purification before the Miracle to see if with the Warning and Miracle we will be converted.
    • The Virgin told me that before the Miracle, God will be sending us a Warning so as to purify us or prepare us to see the Miracle and in this way we may draw enough grace to change our lives toward God.
    • It is a phenomenon which will be seen and felt in all the world and everywhere; I have always given as an example that of two stars that collide.
    • This phenomenon will not cause physical damage, but it will horrify us because at that very moment we will see our souls and the harm we have done.
    • It will be as though we were in agony but we will not die by its effects but perhaps we will die of fright or shock to see ourselves.
    • No one will have doubts of it being from God, and of its not being human.
    • I who know what it is, am very much afraid of that day. The Virgin told us that the Warning and Miracle will be the last warnings or public manifestations that God will give us. This is why I believe that after them we will be near the end of time.
    • To me it's like two stars that crash and make a lot of noise and a lot of light but they don't fall down.
    • It's something that's not going to hurt us but we're going to see it.
    • In that moment, we're going to see our conscience. You're going to see everything wrong that you're doing and the good you're not doing.

The first of the Great Events prophesied at Garabandal

    Loli about the Warning
    • Everyone will experience it wherever they may be, regardless of their condition or their knowledge of God. It will be an interior personal experience. It will look as if the world has come to a standstill, however, no one will be aware of that as they will be totally absorbed in their own experience.
    • It is going to be something like an interior feeling of sorrow and pain for having offended God. God will help us to see clearly the harm we are causing Him and all the evil things we do. He will help us to sense this interior pain because often when we do something wrong we just ask the Lord's forgiveness with our lips, but now (through the Warning) He will help us sense physically that deep sorrow.

The first of the Great Events prophesied at Garabandal

    Jacinta about the Warning
    • The Warning is something that is first seen in the air everywhere in the world and immediately is transmitted into the interior of our souls. It will last for a very little time, but it will seem a very long time because of its effect within us. It will be for the good of our souls, in order to see in ourselves our conscience, the good and the bad that we've done.

The first of the Great Events prophesied at Garabandal

    Mari Cruz about the Warning

…[T]he Virgin never was threatening, it was a warning — like a mother who advises a son, be he takes a bad road

Interview with Mari Cruz, April, 2006

    Q. What were your feelings and thoughts regarding the warning (El Aviso), the Miracle (el Milagro) and the Chastisement (el Castigo)?

    A. "The warning (Aviso) has been misconstrued by some who see it as a threatening situation. I (Mari Cruz) have a different idea about it. For me, I see it as a situation where a father (parent) scolds a son (in a gentle manner), but not a threat.

The Miracle (Milagro) — Mari Cruz has no first hand information on this.

The Chastisement (Castigo) — This is a conditional thing and can be avoided (mitigated) if they would return to God.

There are saints and blessed who have historically made reference to a Warning, so that too needs to be fleshed out for anyone who is not favorable to Garabandal:

    Saint Edmund Campion

The English martyr, St. Edmund Campion (1540-1581), appears to have been the first Catholic saint to refer to a "great day of change". The English charged Campion with sedition, saying he threatened England with invasion by the King of Spain in order to reestablish Catholicism as the national religion. St. Edmund's defense was that he was not threatening invasion but was referring to "a great day wherein the terrible Judge should reveal all men's consciences and try every man of each kind of religion. This is the day of change, this is the Great Day which I threatened, comfortable to the well-being and terrible to all heretics." (St. Edmund Campion, Cobett's Complete Collection of State Trials, Vol. I, p. 1063).

    Saint Faustina Kowalska

In her Diary, where she transcribed her mystical dialogues with Jesus, the Polish nun, St. Faustina Kowalska (1905-1938) reported that she experienced an Illumination of Conscience.

"Once I was summoned to the judgment [seat] of God. I stood alone before the Lord. Jesus appeared such as we know him during his Passion. After a moment, his wounds disappeared except for five, those in his hands, his feet and his side. Suddenly I saw the complete condition of my soul as God sees it. I could clearly see all that is displeasing to God. I did not know that even the smallest transgressions will have to be accounted for." (Diary, 36).

Jesus said to St. Faustina: "Write this: before I come as the Just Judge, I come as the King of Mercy. Before the day of justice arrives, this sign in the sky will be given to mankind. All light in the heavens will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the whole earth. Then the sign of the Cross will be seen in the sky, and from the holes where the hands and the feet of the Savior were nailed will come forth a brilliant light, which will illuminate the Earth for a period of time. This will take place shortly before the last day" (Diary, 83).

    Heede, Germany

In 1945, young Grete Ganseforth, blessed with the stigmata, was one of the witnesses of apparitions in Heede, Germany. She was said to receive words from Christ which referred to a "small judgment".

"Humanity has not listened to My holy Mother, revealed at Fatima to exhort her to do penance. So I will warn the world myself... I am all ready. The terra will shake and be shaken. It will be terrible: a small judgment! But don't be afraid. I am with you. You will rejoice and thank Me. Those who are waiting for Me have My help, My grace, My love. But for those who are not in a state of grace, it will be frightening... I will make myself known to men. Every soul will recognize Me as its God. I come! I am at the door. The earth will shake and moan."

At the start of the apparitions, the Bishop of Osnabrück appointed a new pastor who declared in a diocesan bulletin the supernatural character of the events in Heede. There is "undeniable evidence of the seriousness and the authenticity of these events". In 1959, after examining the facts, the Vicariate of Osnabrück, in a letter to the clergy of the diocese, confirmed the validity of the apparitions and their supernatural origin.

Perhaps it can be argued that the Bible itself contains veiled references to the warning.

    For example:

    Revelation 6:15-17
    New International Reader's Version

15 Everyone hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. This included the kings of the earth, the princes and the generals. It included rich people and powerful people. It also included everyone else, both slaves and people who were free. 16 They called out to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us! Hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne! Hide us from the anger of the Lamb! 17 The great day of their anger has come. Who can live through it?”

That would be good for a larger/longer discussion of the topic.

I’m hoping we can come up with a simple clear three paragraph explanation that we can post to social media, put as a sticky here at MOG to direct newcomers to, and otherwise share quickly and easily via social media and other methods, or even a basic text meme if possible that can be shared and / or printed out.

This is an awesome summary of the warning. Thank you for doing this.

Trying to remember the 3dod happens within a year after this? Or the Miracle happens first?
And Conchita announces the Miracle right, not the warning or 3dod?

So we really don’t know when the 3dod falls into all this right?

And Conchita announces the Miracle NOT the warning?

The warning first{which Mari Loli knew the date of} then the miracle which Conchita will announce. As for the 3DoD{correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that was actually mentioned at Garabandal?} but I think{just my thoughts on it}that may be part of the "conditional" chastisement.

I am really interested in alerting the sick (physical and spiritual) to the promise of healing - when we realise Garabandal lies amidst the Cambrian mountains and the valley would hold MILLIONS OF PEOPLE - it is an enormous ampitheatre where the sick will be cured. What a great source of hope for those suffering from ill health that if they make the effort to get to Garbabandal God will reward their faith.

    Conchita Gonzalez:
The Virgin told only me about the miracle. She forbade me to say what it will consist of. I cannot reveal the date either until eight days beforehand. What I am allowed to say is that it will coincide with an event in the church, and with the feast of a saint who is a martyr of the Holy Eucharist; it will be at half-past eight on a Thursday evening; it will be visible to everybody in the village and on the surrounding mountainsides; the sick who are present will be cured and the incredulous will believe. It will be the greatest miracle that Jesus has worked for the world. There will not remain the slightest doubt that it comes from God and is for the good of mankind. In the pine grove, a sign of the miracle will be left forever. It will be possible to film and televise it.

I want to be there with my wife (for her physical healing) on the day of the Miracle - we will have 8 days notice from Conchita and we are priveleged on this forum to have Glenn - we on this forum will be amongst the first in the world to get notice!!

The nearest port is Santander, which also has an airport - from Ireland one can take a boat or a flight (Garabandal posted in red to the south east of Santander).

    The sequence is
    1. Warning
    2. Great Miracle
    3. Conditional chastisement

The chastisement could be the 3dod - no one really know.

Regarding the 3DoD, there are real differences of opinion. Bishop Schneider apparently thinks it’s specious:

Sister Elena Aiello spoke of the 3 days of darkness. This gives me some confidence about the occurrence of this event, although there are many good Catholics who do not believe in it, like Bishop Schneider.

…During the nineteenth century, Blessed Anna Maria Taigi, a simple saintly Roman housewife, received one of the most remarkable mystical gifts ever recorded—a luminous globe in which God revealed to her events taking place in various places in the present and in the future. During the intense power struggle between the Pope Pius VII and Napoleon, Blessed Anna Maria prayed and suffered for the Holy Father. In her luminous globe God revealed to her the precise date of the liberation of Pope Pius VII, the decline and fall of Napoleon, the exact date of his death, and many other events that she predicted with pinpoint accuracy. In harmony with the other prophecies mentioned above, and of which she appears to have known nothing, Blessed Anne Maria foretold a time of terrible tribulation when the enemies of the Church would appear to triumph. At this time:

God will ordain two punishments: one, in the form of wars, revolutions, and other evils, will originate on earth; the other will be sent from Heaven. There will come over all the earth an intense darkness lasting three days and three nights. Nothing will be visible and the air will be laden with pestilence, which will claim principally but not exclusively, the enemies of religion . . . Only blessed candles can be lighted and will afford illumination . . . All the enemies of the Church, secret as well as known, will perish over the whole earth during that universal darkness, with the exception of a few, whom God will soon after convert. The air will be infected by demons who will appear under all sorts of hideous forms.

After the three days of darkness, St. Peter and St. Paul, having come down from heaven, will preach in the whole world and designate a new Pope. A great light will flash from their bodies and will settle upon the cardinal, the future Pontiff. Then Christianity will spread throughout the world. He is the Holy Pontiff, chosen by God to withstand the storm. At the end he will have the gift of miracles, and his name shall be praised over the whole earth.[21]

[During this period] France shall fall into a frightful anarchy. The French shall have a desperate civil war in the course of which old men themselves will take up arms. The political parties, having exhausted their blood and their rage without being able to arrive at any satisfactory understanding, shall at the last extremity agree by common consent to have recourse to the Holy See. Then the Pope shall send to France a special legate . . . In consequence of the information received, His Holiness himself shall nominate a most Christian king for the government of France[22] . . . Whole nations will come back to the Church, and the face of the earth will be renewed. Russia, England, and China will come into the Church.[23]

Blessed Mary of Jesus Crucified, a Carmelite from Galilee famous for her holiness, her levitations and for the beautiful mystical poetry that she wrote in ecstasy, also predicted that God would cleanse the earth of evil during three days and nights of darkness:

During a darkness lasting three days the people given to evil will perish so that only one fourth of mankind will survive.[24]

St. Caspar del Bufalo, founder of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, also foretold these three days and nights of perpetual darkness.

The death of the impenitent persecutors of the Church will take place during three days of darkness. He who outlives the darkness and the fear of these three days will think that he is alone on the earth because the whole world will be covered with cadavers.[25]

Venerable Elizabeth Cani-Mora (1774-1825) who freed Count John Maria de Mastai Ferreti (the future Blessed Pope Pius IX) from epilepsy which had prevented him from becoming a priest, not only predicted the three days of darkness but also the special role of St. Peter in choosing a new Pope to lead the Church into a new era.

As soon as St. Peter, the prince of the Apostles, had gathered the flock of Jesus Christ in a place of safety, he re-ascended into heaven, accompanied by legions of angels. Scarcely had they disappeared, when the sky was covered with clouds so dense and dismal that it was impossible to look at them without dismay. On a sudden there burst out such a terrible and violent wind, that its noise sounded like the roars of furious lions. The sound of the furious hurricane was heard over the whole earth. Fear and terror struck not only men, but the very beasts.[26]

During the twentieth century, Sister Elena Aiello, foundress of the Calabrian nuns, also saw visions of the three days of darkness and the chastisement of the Church’s enemies:

Clouds with lightning rays of fire and a tempest of fire will pass over the whole world and the punishment will be the most terrible ever known in the history of mankind. It will last 70 hours [three days]. The wicked will be crushed and eliminated. Many will be lost because they will have stubbornly remained in their sins. Then they will feel the force of light over darkness. The hours of darkness are near.[27]

The patron saint of parish priests, St. John Vianney, the wonder-worker of Ars, possessed the gift of prophecy to a high degree. He, too, foresaw a time so evil that it would appear that “all is lost,” until a miniature judgment by God would cleanse the earth.

A civil war shall break out everywhere. These wicked people… will imprison very many [persons], and will be guilty of more massacres. They will attempt to kill all priests and all the religious. But this shall not last long. People will imagine that all is lost; but the good God shall save all. It will be like a “sign” of the last judgment’… Religion shall flourish again better than ever before.[28]

According to this source, Padre Pio denied in 1960 the authorship of the prophecy about the 3 days of darkness:

Strangely enough the seers stated that very few people will be present when the miracle occurs.

    Why?

    War?

    Government restrictions?

    Geophysical changes?

    Disbelief?

    One more mystery about Garabandal.

    Remember covid lockdowns?

There is a real prospect of future 'climate' lockdowns?

The elites want us locked in our homes.

    All good points.

There’s also the possibility that they meant it “relatively speaking”.

“Few people” as compared to the population of Spain or Europe.

Not a million people but maybe 50 or 20 thousand.

The girls were very young and unexposed. It’s difficult for us to imagine what their worldview might’ve been like. The world has changed so dramatically since then.
