Anyone ever wonder if God still has a purpose for those saints both known and unknown that decay did not touch in death?

I do not if it is written anywhere through private or public revelation, but it has crossed my mind that God might still have a use for these souls.

    Thoughts?

In my mind, such things are allowed to happen in order to testify to the fact that "God remains with us," that he hasn't forgotten us and that He leaves marks on this Earth that ultimately point to Him -- regardless of what's happening or not happening here and now. Science has not offered a suitable explanation. And although many have heard about our incorruptable brothers and sisters, many in the world continue to respond with skepticism and outright disbelief. So, in a way, the faithful are able to gain insight on how most people will respond to any past, present, and future miracle. (I'm thinking here of the great miracle of Garabandal, which will happen eventually.)
