I'm heading to Rome and Assisi this week to visit my son, Benjamin, who will be ordained a transitional Deacon this coming Sunday. So if you have any personal intentions you wish me to carry to the Eternal City or to Francis' hometown, let me know. You will all be in my prayers! What a special weekend it shall be: Friday- the Feast of the Sacred Heart Saturday- the Feast of the Immaculate Heart Sunday- the Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
Mario, please pray for the family members on this forum who have steped away from the faith that they may receive the call to repentance and return to the house of God. Thank you.
First Mario, thank you and your wife for raising a son who has decided to give his life to God - what a gift! We will pray for his vocation. I would appreciate your prayers and placing the intentions of my family into the care of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. In addition, I ask for continued discernment and openness to the Holy Spirit to conform to the will He has for me. Thank you.
For my marriage and for my daughter, who is soon to give birth and is falling far from the faith. Have a wonderful trip! Ahhh, Assisi in the Summer!! When you see a fountain, think of ME!!
Mario, will you please pray for my family situation? There are some big changes happening over the coming months, please pray for my son.
Thanks for remembering all of our intentions! I pray you will have a safe and wonderful journey. God Bless!
Thank you- that when the Time comes all on this forum and their families accept the Mercy of Christ. Safe trip!
Please pray for my 2 brothers in law to turn away from secular attractions and turn back to God and seek his forgiveness and love.
Well, I am back from my trip to Italy and presented your intentions in a special way during Holy Mass at Saint Mary of the Angels! This church below Assisi was built over a hermitage that Saint Francis would frequent- the Portiuncola (Little Portion). He died at the hermitage in 1226. We Catholics don't like doing things in a small way, thus the large, beautiful Church dedicated to Our Lady! I was a blubbering fool at this point of the pilgrimage; one could say your intentions literally poured forth! We are such needy people, but the Two Hearts never tire of responding to our requests. Alleluia! Safe in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
