Please pray for Bishop Olson of Texas. I believe he is innocent. Poor man. I know it may not look like it and I know he may be charged with different things, but he is innocent. My heart goes out to him.

How do I know? I know from looking at him as I know from looking at the Prioress of the nuns concerned. I know this sounds strange; but I know just from looking at them both.

I feel the same way, Padraig. I can tell just from their faces.

Btw, this is the convent I went inside when I was a child and wanted to be a Carmelite. The good nuns showed me around the cells and the chapel, and I knew in my heart it was not where I was called, though it was a lovely place at the time. It hurts my heart to know this power struggle is occurring there...and makes me wonder how long things have been brewing in that convent that should never have taken root.

I just watched the video. Someone inside the convent provided those pics to the bishop, of the many bottles and syringes that look like drugs... How awful! I feel horrible for the remaining faithful nuns in the convent that have been living with/under such corruption of the Carmelite way of life. I pray the bishop can get this sorted out and salvage the faithful remnant.

It looks gorgeous, like heaven.:) Prayers for all the nuns in that Carmel and Carmel's everywhere. You know I was just thinking this morning that I have read loads of books and articles about saints in Carmels all over the world and I have never before read about a bad Carmel. Not one. Ever. There must surely have been some, but I have never read any.

One of the loveliest books I have ever read about them was when they started to spread all across Europe. It was about the first Carmelite saints in the convents who were ,very often the Foundresses of the initial Carmels. Saint after saint after saints, loads and loads of them. Beautiful.

One of St Teresa of Avila's famous statements was,

'I am a child of the Church'.

She was very, very often badly mistreated in her life but she just offered it all up. I can't imagine her taking a Catholic Bishop to a Secular Court for and instant.

    As St Paul reminds us.:

    1 Corinthians 6:1-8

Furthermore, how dare you take a fellow believer to court! It is wrong to drag him before the unrighteous to settle a legal dispute. Isn't it better to take him before God's holy believers to settle the matter?

Secular Lawmakers may love to get their teeth into this. It gives them an even further chance to attack the Church.

    So sad.

Yes there are bound to be good holy nuns there. I am sure it will all turn out alright, that things will be set straight. I just hope and pray it will be quickly before the Church is dragged through the mire.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons Mother Wilhelmina's incorrupt was found recently? TO point at the good, saintly nuns. TO make up for this scandal.

I was listening to this Protestant guy who went to see her body; it is very touching:

I keep thinking and praying for Bishop Alvarez in the dark hell hole he is in. Like St John of the Cross and his dark night of the soul. The poetry of St John of the Cross is a little hard to understand at first until you come to understand his love is a superior love than our earthly love. It’s on a very high level. And there are many Carmelite Doctors and martyrs. I am sure our dear Bishop Alvarez is in union with Edith Stein and Father Kolbe and all other martyrs. Our religious are being so attacked now. All over the world. We need Jesus the healer to come soon our world is very ill. On my knees.

Yes Katfalls. We are "sick unto death" as a culture world wide. I pray Jesus sends His Mother very very soon.
