I do not post here but I visit all the time to learn and pray for those in need. Asking for prayers today. On Saturday our little church Incarnation Catholic Church in Orlando Florida was burned down. The fire happened overnight and appears to have been intentionally set although some authorities are calling it an accident so far. We are a strong little church but could use prayers as we find a means to rebuild. Thank you very much for your time.
Bless you all. Everything is part of God's Will. He will lead you all through this. Prayers. It's not just about the building it hurts that someone can hate so much as to do something like this. The world is so full of hate at the moment ,especially for our poor Church. John 15:18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
For all it's faults and the Church has many, many faults, basically it does pretty much nothing but good in the World. I count for instance in my own Parish, the Holy Family. A large Catholic Housing Association. Helping the homeless. A very large Catholic Credit Union, helping out with money. A lovely Day Hostel for the elderly. A large housing scheme for the elderly. Two large hostels for young homeless Mothers. Two Grade schools for children. Three High Schools. A charity shop run by St Vincent De Paul with a food bank. The list goes on and on and this is just one Parish. I remember one time a video on utube criticising St Mother Teresa of Calcutta. I wrote on the comments. 'It is fair enough for anyone to criticise Mother Teresa but before doing so tell us what you yourself are doing for the poor?' They never answered. I could say the same for folk who burn down Churches? 'Well what good are you yourself doing?' 'Have you looked at the good these people whose Church you burnt are doing?'
