colonoscopy

    Hi Everyone

    I have to have a routine 3 yearly screening Colonoscopy in about 20 hours. Please pray for me to get through the awful prep and especially to get through the procedure itself. Im always quite an anxious patient ! As part of prep, I will be up all night using the bathroom. Please pray I can get through this and come out the other side. alive and kicking

    Praying now and offering Mass this morning.

    I think there was a saint who once said that a prayer asked is a prayer answered. Which is a lovely way of seeing things.

    This too will pass.

    Yes it's not a nice one but I find gritting my teeth and making it a sacrifice helps. You will get through it.

    Prayers! I've had almost 20 joint and other surgeries and I too dread this one. The prep is awful!

    Praying at Mass this morning. The prep is the worse. The procedure is done in twilight sleep. You won't remember any of it. God bless.

    Its all over now, thanks for all your prayers! - it went exceptionally smoothly from beginning of prep til coming home from the clinic. Nothing sinister was found and I probably will not have to have a recall in 3 years, as a result. I was feeling very peaceful throughout.
