The idea of this thread is for members to try to do a Holy Hour of Adoration each week for the souls of the loved ones that members hold dear. If Adoration cannot be done, then perhaps a rosary or some other devotion can be done each week for this intention. A visit to the Blessed Sacrament reposed in the tabernacle is good, too. The idea is to unite in prayer as prayer warriors which we know ourselves to be. I would like prayers for my loved ones.
I love this idea and will happily add the intention of the souls of loved ones from the forum to my weekly Adoration time.
Great idea! Our new priest from Nigeria said at their order's house in Scotland there is a group of parents who meet every Wednesday for a holy hour to intercede for all their loved ones. They carry photographs and put them at the base of the altar while they pray. He says some miracle conversions have taken place since they started this devotion.
Rory, you are an example for us all. You are at Adoration quite often and you pray for all of us. We thank you. Let’s begin to storm Heaven.
I will expand my 9pm Holy Hour by 15 minutes to add prayers focused on the conversion of MOG families (8:45 - 9:00 East coast) O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
Our parish only offers adoration once a month, I will do a rosary on the other weeks for this intention. Thank you HH.
I will add the intention of conversions for all loved ones of this forum's members to my prayer during Consecration at every Mass. This is a wonderful idea and I ask that my father especially be prayed for. Thank you!
Also, because I saw this post directly after finding a reputable site online to be able to request Masses said even on specific dates, I'll post it here for those who are interested. One Mass offered for a person is worth more than all other prayers! https://mymassrequest.org/Request-A-Mass/Masses-for-the-Living
I love this idea HH- please count me in as I will add this intention and prayers to my weekly holy hour.
Could I please ask for prayers for my grandson Vinny? He's been sober for a long time and the past few days has been drinking again. He smashed his car thankfully only into a guard rail and no one was hurt but he's passed out now and his father has been calling me livid{he just bought the truck for him}. Please pray for Vinny's sobriety and for his father too. Thank you so much!
