Hi all! There seems to be a lot of people needing prayers right now. I will continue to pray for all requests. I am actually hoping for prayers as well. I just received a text from my uncle that my Gma is in the hospital. They took her in for a severe UTI and a possible GI bleed. The poor woman has had a year. After watching her husband slowly decline with Alzheimer’s the last couple years, being diagnosed with bone cancer in the leg with treatment and surgery over the last couple years, to finally needing amputation over the summer, just months after tragically losing her son to some crazy out of no where illness. My Gma is the toughest lady I know. 80’s and not slowing down. Even with the amputation, still insisting on cleaning and cooking all the same. I pray she is okay and can get home for Thanksgiving. She lives with my uncle who is hosting us all and I was mostly going because I want to spend time with her. I am also awaiting blood work for my current pregnancy. Number 5. It’s taking longer than I had expected so my anxiety is getting best of me worried it’s bad news….. praying for a healthy addition to our family! prayers to everyone in the forum!! ❤️❤️

Thank you all for your prayers. My screening tests for my pregnancy all came back low risks! And I found out we’re having our 5th girl! My Grandma is still in the hospital. I was able to go visit her. She was feisty as ever. The Drs were so certain it was e-coli or salmonella. But cultures came back negative. The bleeding stopped but everyone is still on edge after all the cancer stuff. Everything is still going right through her and they are trying to keep her hydrated. Hoping they will just allow a full body scan with her history. Just to get the cancer out of everyone’s mind. Continued prayers for my Grandma would be so appreciated!! She also is having a hysterectomy on 12/18, as I guess she’s spent years getting some procedure done every few months, to keep her uterus from “falling out”. (According to my uncle). Also on the 18th, my Grandpa (her husband), is being evaluated to see if he’s ready to go into a home for his Alzheimer’s. This is so sad, but after being up there this weekend, it would be best for everyone. No one seems to have the patience for him anymore. He just eats all the time, Mostly sweets. Scrolls on his phone. Hygiene is becoming an issue. My Grandma just can’t anymore. Anyways…. I appreciate all of the prayers. I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving! And that everyone finds peace heading into this Advent season!
Blessed Momma, thank you for the update. I’m thrilled for you about your low risk pregnancy and 5th girl! God is good. I will continue to keep your grandma and grandpa in prayer. So much to be thankful for yet so much to continue to pray for.
