Prayers for my dear brother

    Hello MOG forum members, I would like to request prayers from you all for my dear brother Jon. He has been married for 10 years and they had their fourth child earlier this year. Jon has had issues with alcohol abuse for years, and it recently cost him his wife who has abandoned him and announced she will be filing for divorce. My brother has a lot of deep wounds from the past that have been fueling his drinking habit. I also learned that he and his wife had been away from the sacraments and given up the faith for the year leading up to recent events. Jon is a good man but needs a lot of healing. I’ve been praying the Mary Undoer of Knots novena for, and at times with, him, and have a brother who will be joining me in that, but would you all kindly considering offering up some prayers/sacrifices for Jon and his wife’s healing and reconciliation with each other and with God. Thank you for anything you can do.

    Hello Tom,
    Yes, we will pray. It has been suggested that we, as a forum, pray a Christmas novena, starting today, 23 December. This could be for Jon, for different people who need healing, and for the Holy Catholic Church in general. Perhaps, if we could all agree on a specific novena, we could all pray together as a forum, for quite a few intentions combined?
