The beauty of our journey is that not one is the same. If we accept Jesus as Our Lord and Savior, we step onto the path. The path itself may seem very narrow but as you/we grow spiritually it begins to open up. The path itself winds and goes up and down...and sometimes almost disappears. But once on the path there is no turning back. The path gives us knowledge to continue in our spirituality. It can show us beautiful scenery but sometimes lead us to places we don't want to see. Every living saint (all Christian; not just declared saints) must follow the path but not one is the same. True disciples can help you get to the path and maybe hold your hands at times. But the path is your own...very special personal journey. In this journey you cannot look back and you can only see a few steps forward. But every step can be magical. As you walk this path it has no timeline but the ever present now, nothing before nothing after. Some might get excited and try to run the path but as you/we begin to understand its beauty it becomes a gentle walk. Our basic goal is to focus on the path and by our words, actions and deeds (example)...in the hopes that it may lead others to find a trail. Then their journey begins.

May God bless us all in our personal journey.

I truly could not choose one of the above because every single day is a combination of all four. I don't know how it would be possible to separate the four as they seem to bleed into each other.

I would say if anything I was on the Carmelite path. But I am not sure. I am not sure the poor Carmelites would accept me. :D (Experiential, friendship)

I'm on the path to the beatific vision. Passed through the purgative way, teeter between the illuminative way and the unitive way. These paths do not run parallel with each other, but instead are more like steps to heaven. I began at the feet of Christ - turning away from mortal sin, establishing a pattern of prayer, had a fear based turning toward God. Then, I moved to the hands of Christ - loving others as I love myself, had a service of God motivated by reward, grew in prayer virtue, and stability. I am now at the wound of Christ - contemplating our spiritual marriage, have no attachment or affection for venial sins, spend most of my free time in prayer or silence.
My relationship with Christ used to be that of a distant cousin, then that of a neighbor (familiar), then He became a brother. He is now becoming that of a spouse.

I think here you refer to stages of prayer rather than the spirituality itself,

It is a bit like my asking you what country you are from and you say how many miles are you from Washington....

Whereas in talking of spirituality the correct answer would have been Fransiscan, Thomistic, Benedictine.. like countries...

Whereas distance to Washington are prayer stages.

I probably describe myself badly as to meaning.

I am getting mixed up myself now

I took the quiz that I just now saw in the original post. Missed it on my mobile earlier. So....

My Spirituality Type: PATH OF ASCETICISM (Ignatian prayer)
More than half of churchgoers practice this type of prayer of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. It involves imagining oneself as part of a scene in order to draw some practical fruit from it for today. This spirituality goes back to the Israelite way of praying in 1000 B.C., to remember and immerse oneself in an event, thus reliving and participating in the event in a symbolic way.
Kinda funny, this is what I do every night when I say the rosary. I picture myself there, in the moment with Jesus and/or Mary. And it's different every time, sometimes I'm wiping Jesus' face, sometimes holding His hand or running with Mary Magdalen to the tomb.
