After holding the Rosary pretty much the same way for around 60 years, our dear Lord has shown me a new and more beautiful way. During a Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction service, I noticed that our Pastor (Father Christopher) held the Crucifix of the Rosary in the palm of his hand, while praying the entire Rosary with that same hand. This melted my heart and I didn’t even realize it was possible, but it most assuredly is. I asked Father where he learned that and he said he read about it in an old devotional book. After some practice, I can now hold the Crucifix in my palm for the entire Rosary. It feels wonderful, having that Crucifix pressing Jesus into you physically as we pray His Life with His Mother and take Him into ourselves spiritually. Saying the Divine Mercy Chaplet this way gives it more meaning for me too. Dear Brothers and Sisters of our Mother’s forum, perhaps many of you already pray your Rosary in this manner but I am like a child who just found something new that was right before me the whole time. I thank our Holy Priest for praying this way and I thank the Holy Spirit and His Spouse for bringing Jesus alive to me in a new way after all these years. I guess there is a lesson there. Perhaps even a homily for Lent. Maybe some of you will find this useful also.

    Peace Dear Sisters and Brothers,
    Ed

I will try it, Ed. As you said, you practiced. I will try. Thanks.
