    Hi Sponsa,
I have the same thing in my family, they were Catholic as far back as I can trace, then "boom" one unhappy person who didn't teach her children the faith lead to two generations of spiritual wandering in the wilderness. Fortunately my mother converted so we are Catholic again.
People forget in their pain that what they do, or neglect to do, can have terrible consequences, especially on their children.
So, just curious, what exactly is a netrophil?
    God bless!
