She did not come to announce our destruction; she came to save us and with her Son she will triumph over evil. Only when the things contained in the secrets start to happen will the world understand why she chose March 18. The significance of the date will be clear. Medjugorje Visionary Mirjana’s has a new book out and it is fascinating that she says: “Now is the time to tell the world my story.” And it certainly begs the question: Why now? Why now indeed. Two very important dates may offer a clue. 1. The 100 year anniversary of Fatima will be next year. The hundred anniversary of the first apparition is May 13, and the hundred year anniversary of the miracle of the sun is October 13, 2017. Medjugorje we are told is the fulfillment of Fatima. But the real intriguing date will be March 18 next year. Mirjana says when the secrets begin to unfold the significance of March 18 will be clear to the world. During a Q & A session between Mirjana and a group of English-speaking pilgrims in Medjugorje, and in response to a comment by one of the pilgrims about sharing the same birthday as Mirjana, the visionary responded: “Great people were born on the 18th of March. But I never have my birthday because that is the day of the apparition. And many people have the wrong opinion about it. They feel that Our Lady comes to me on the 18th of March because it is my birthday. She doesn’t come for sure for that reason because she never said to me Happy Birthday. When everything starts happening, then you will be able to understand why the 18th of March, why every second of the month, why Wednesdays and Fridays are days of fasting, everything will be clear.” In her new book Mirjana had a few things to say about the Medjugorje secrets: Mirjana: "The seventh Secret Troubled Me Greatly” Mirjana then asked “Is it possible for the secrets to be lessened? We know we are close. Next year is also the 500th anniversary of the reformation too... Very interesting about the March 18th being a special day, not just Mirjana's birthday. I have always just read that Our Lady appears to her on her birthday, I didn't know it was for some other reason. Thanks for this post Fatima
Yesterday when I went to adoration I ran into a priest friend (btw, please pray for him....he's been under a lot of stress and physical pain lately) who loves Medjugorje. He held up this book and asked if I had read it yet.....told him I had ordered it....he said it's wonderful, great!
Well, we have another LttW moment. We have a date when things are proven true or not. I feel Madjugorje is, but we will know seven months.
No, Dean, March 18 next year is pure speculation on the part of Stephen Ryan who has his own pro-medjugorje website named 'Mystic Post'. No visionary or anyone connected with them is predicting anything for next year. Mirjana has merely said in the new book something she mentioned many years ago that the March 18 date is significant but has never mentioned any particular year.
If 2017 is the excepted year, 18th March is not pure speculation but reality. It will be three weeks before the Miracle in Garabandal. I expect the special synod, where all churches will be united. The synods are three weeks long. This is pure speculation, but the date 18/3/2017 not. PS: I was in Međugorje now. New highway ends next to Križevac, only 2 km from Međugorje. This is miracle! This was I think predicted by Jelena (?). All is prepared on predicted events!
As far as I can remember the first announced secret or warning to come from Medjugorje will be a type of disaster that may affect Medjugorje itself. I heard there was a very holy man who lived there many years ago who has already died, and he once predicted a terrible flood would come in Medjugorje in the future. I wondered if that could be the first secret as a warning and sign to be announced by the Priest chosen by Mirjana. What made me think of this was. In one interview with Mirjana, when someone asked if we could all travel to the place announced at the first secret; Mirjana replied who would want to travel to see for example a dam busting in Italy. Disasters are not for sight seers, IMHO.
Knowing that it has been said that towards the end of this current Era St. Joseph will finally get the praise that he deserves and he will be greatly honored, I've wondered if this date of March 18th might not pertain to this honor, being that it is the eve of his feast day, March 19. Medjugorje itself really began on Jun.24, the eve of its official anniversary date, June 25. The six children who went up the hill that day, June 25, compiled the permanent group of visionaries: For this reason, among others perhaps, June 25th became the anniversary of the apparitions and eventually was named, the Feast of Our Lady Queen of Peace, at the request of Our Lady, herself. But the eve of that official date was the day when these marvelous events actually began. So, would Jesus and His Mother include the third member of the Holy Family, their beloved Joseph, in a great tribute of honor for him, including him in this great apparition site for these end times with something special, on the eve of his own official Church feast day? Yes I remember reading that story about the old man who lived in the village, he mentioned boats also as far as I know. He also said there would be steps going up the apparition hill. I'm not sure if this has happened as I have not been back for a few years.

Dressed in white and blue, her simple clothing comes relatively close to the descriptions from the visionaries. The painting is on exhibition somewhere in Medjugorje - if I am not too mistaken, it is in The Yellow Hall."
I just finished reading Michael Brown's latest special report - Prophesy Update: 'Hour of Peril' and as usual found it to be very insightful. I especially made note of the following remark: "Let me go out on a limb myself and say that I believe some year, sometime in the future -- don't ask me what year -- a major event will occur on March 18." This date is important because Our Lady of Medjugorje told Marijana, after disclosing the the 10th secret, that she would appear to her each year on March 18th which is Marijana’s birthday. Our Lady further disclosed that she would appear to her on this date, not because it was her birthday but because March 18th would be a special, significant date in the future. Let me go out on a limb myself and say that I believe that this date is tied to the Garabandal warning or illumination as we often refer to it. Before explaining why I believe this, let me just say that I have taken the Garabandal messages very seriously since I first heard about them in the early 1990’s, to the point where I purchased five tickets on the ‘Garabandal Miracle Flight’ from the 101 Foundation in order to be present at the site of the apparitions when the miracle occurs. I think I have read just about everything ever published about Garabandal and am waiting expectantly for the final two events to occur. These two events are the Warning or what is referred to as the Illumination of Conscience and the Miracle which will occur at the site of the apparitions. Now, let me get back to the March 18th date. When studying the key events in Garabandal, I noticed that all of them happened on the 18th of various months. For clarity I will list them here. 6/18/1981 – St. Michael first appeared to four young girls to announce that our Lady would soon be appearing to them. 10/18/1961 – Our Lady appeared and revealed her first message. 7/18/1962 – This is the date that the miracle of the Eucharist through the hands of St. Michael was announced to happen. It actually did not happen until 1:30 AM the next day because Conchita had already received communion on the 18th and in those days communion could only be received once each day. Even the angels are obedient to the laws of our holy Church. 6/18/1965 – St. Michael delivered the last message from Our Lady. That still leaves the final two major events. We are told that the Miracle will happen in the springtime, on a Thursday between the 8th and 16th of the month. Since that eliminates the possibility of the Miracle happening on the 18th, I have come to the conclusion that the Warning most definitely could occur on March 18th. I know that it is most widely stated that the Warning would happen within one year of the Miracle, but I read in an interview with one of the visionaries that it would happen within the same year. Let me go out a little further on a limb by saying I believe this will happen next year 2017. As you can already tell, I am a strong believer in Medjugorje and Garabandal. So let me continue by saying that I am also strong believer in the revelations of Charlie Johnston. For all three of these to be true, the revelations should fit together like a puzzle and I believe they do. So here is the sequence of events as I see them happening. The Jubilee Year of Mercy ends 11/20/2016. Sometime close to the closing of the Jubilee Year of Mercy, the first secret of Medjugurje takes place which is an upheaval in a region of the world. The second secret of Medjugorje which is also one and the same as The Warning of Garabandal takes place on March 18th, 2017. This will be the greatest intervention and act of mercy that God could give to us. The Miracle of Medjugorje coincides with the Miracle of Garabandal on 4/13/2017. In both of these apparitions we are told that if mankind does not repent by this time, we will face the consequences of our sinfulness and lack of repentance. We then enter into the fullness of the storm and suffer the most painful of times that humanity has ever been faced with. Late in 2017, Our Lady will visibly and miraculously come to rescue us. She will bring her spouse the Holy Spirit to usher in a new ‘Springtime of Christianity’ also referred to as ‘New Pentecost’. This will the fulfillment at last of Our Lady of Fatima’s words “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.”

Only 26 days between the warning and miracle does not make sense to me. But I agree 18th March is a special date -
JAK, I should thank you just for asking my opinion on this but I don't have much of an opinion on anything related to Medjugorje. I will look to see if I see anything happening in the sky on 3/18/17 by using Stellarium. As far as guessing when the Warning will occur, I think that is much more difficult than guessing the date of the Miracle because we have so many less clues but we do know that Mari Loli said an even year. Antonio Yague's guess is this 11/13 some others have guessed dates in this October. I think anytime now is possible and it continues to make sense to me that it is before the WCWTS sign which is 9/23/17 but only God know for sure.
I just looked at Stellarium and I couldn't see anything which seemed foretelling about 3/18/17 but that does not really mean anything. What I did notice which I think is sort of interesting is that Libra is the scale, in my opinion representing judgment (courts use a scale as a symbol all of the time). The Sun is said to represent God which makes sense to me. I noticed that the Sun is in the constellation Libra on 11/13/16 (actually enters Libra around 11/7 and exits around 11/15) BUT I checked a few different years at is seems that this occurs often in Nov for at least the last few years and the next few years also, the thing which is different about 2016/2017 is that the sign of WCWTS will begin it's process @ 11/20/16 and complete on 9/23/17. PS - I should mention that way Stellarium works is that you pick a location to view the sky from and I chose Madrid, Spain for these observations.
