I came across this blog post which is really interesting and worth reading.

It's about the importance of the date February 13th (or the 13th of Adar in the Hebrew calendar) as it relates to Our Lady of Fatima and the Book of Esther. Our Lady of Fatima's gown has a star just above her feet, called the Star of Esther, in reference to the Book of Esther. Apparently, the book of Esther foreshadows the doctrine of the Mediatrix of all Graces and Esther is "a great figure type for the Virgin Mary, especially under her title Our Lady of Fatima."

About the date of Lucy's death: "Until Lucia’s passing, the magnitude of “the 13th of Adar” could not be realized, even by Fatima scholars. Her death signals that, like the Jews who stood for their lives on the 13th of Adar, our own great battle against annihilation is begun. The secret significance of Lucia’s date of death has been right before our eyes all the time: It occurred exactly 40 minutes before sunset,[2] on the 13th of February[3] – in the Hebrew month of Adar.[4]"

I don't agree with the consecration information at the end of the article, but it's otherwise it's a good read. I was thinking of the date as it could also relate to the death of Judge Scalia in the US given that he is an important figure of justice...

What a wonderful article Andree thanks so much for posting it, it explains a lot. I always wondered about the 13th with regard to Fatima.

You're welcome Padraig. I didn't know about the significance of the star on Our Lady of Fatima and admit that I haven't read the book of Esther, but am going to remedy that soon. Thanks for the film, I'll try to watch it today.

I don;t really know the significance of the Star either Andree. But I always guessed that Lucifer was God's first born Creation and the Star often represents Lucifer who fell like a star from heaven. Our Lady took Lucifers place and is the New Star , hence the Star.

    My guess anyway.

Actually as I recall the Book of Esther is read in Church during the year.

A good Book for Lent as it heavily involves fasting.

This is amazing, astounding, incredible and terrifying.

I had read a long time ago that Fatima is prefigured in the book of Esther.

Esther is a portrayal of the one favoured by the King. In Fatima it is Mary favoured by God.

The lesson for us is "Do what she says, if you want to survive. For an enemy is planning to wipe you out."

Last Year a cousin of mine died on 13th February. He was a Priest RIP and he had consecrated our entire family to Immaculate Heart of Mary some years ago as a birthday gift for my mother RIP, who happened to be his godmother.

I did not realise his date of death was so relevant to Fatima.

What I take from this thread and based on the lack of repentance on a mass scale is, we are all doomed to die at the hands of islam. It will take a miracle like the Triumph of Immaculate Heart of Mary to avert our annihilation. Because that is what would have happened to the Jews if they did not do what Esther instructed them. Have we done what Our Lady of Fatima instructed us. Only a handful if you ask me.

I'm not sure if this has any significance to what is posted here, but after reading about the "star" I remembered that Pope Francis' Papal Coat of Arms has a star in the lower left corner. Something to ponder...

I know most in the world are asleep to what is taking place, but that is why our loving Father in heaven will gift humanity with the Warning and bring many who are wandering back home. There will always be hope up till the moment of the Warning, God's greatest gift of mercy for his sinfull children. but whoa to those who do not enter through the gate of his mercy, because there will not be another chance.

I am bumping up this post along with a recommendation for this excellent book, The Secrets of Fatima where the author talks about the Star of Esther and how this relates to Our Lady of Fatima.

It's a interesting coat of arms for the pope, I've never studied it. But that star isn't the same as relates to Fatima because that one has five-points like the myrtle flower, which is another meaning of the name Esther.

I looked up a photo of the myrtle flower and found this one. Funny coincidence, I find that its dangling stamens make it look a bit like the infamous virus photos we've been hammered with for 2 years!

He resigned on February 11, 2013. That was the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.

Bergoglio was elected pope on 13 March 2013, from Wikipedia.
    Agnes, good job!
Wow, there was almost no time at all between the resignation and Pope Francis's election.

Interesting, I don't agree with their take on the consecration though.

    Food for thought;
