    I'm in Portugal on holiday this week so we took bus to Fatima today for a day pilgrimage. I will offer a petition for all the intentions on the MOG forum to the Immaculate Heart of Mary today.

    Thank you so much. Please pray for the swift and safe moving of my daughter and her family into their new rental property this weekend. We have all been living in the same house for 10 months and Ive become sleep deprived and stressed from it.

    I'm kind of thinking this will be the last 'normal' summer for travel so made plans early and so pleased to get to Fatima, there is the electricity of Marian spirituality like static in the air. Truly wonderful.

    Enjoy Moville if I win the lottery I would buy a home somewhere in Donegal near the coast -- there is nowhere in the world like it (maybe the Amalfi coast runs it close).

    It's my favourite too. A few years ago at a Paul Brady concert in the Opera House, Belfast, after the show we purchased a CD which he signed I actually said to him that he did the best version of the Homes of Donegal.

    He immediately retorted that I was wrong that Bridie Gallagher did the definitive version.

    Fair play to him for his honesty.

    I've just realised the hotel we are staying at in Lisbon is half a mile from the hospital where St Jacinto Marto died in 1920.

    The street where the hospital is had been renamed Rua Jacinto Marto.

    So I have just walked to the street and hospital to take some photographs.

    I think I have found a wee sister & saint intercessor whom I have befriended and will have devotion to for the rest of my life.
