Will there or won't there be a Third World War as per Marian Apparitions?

Dear Friends, I recently read this article by Benedict Carter on 1P5. It mentions Our Lady of Hrushiv Apparitions in Ukraine. Our Lady said the Ukrainian People have suffered much for Her historically (e.g. Holodomor). She also apparently said that there will be a Third World War. It got me thinking, What exactly is the Prophetic Consensus of Marian Apparitions on World War III? Or is it conditional? Will there or won't there be WW III?

Hmm interesting. Didn't Mary say in Garabandal there wouldn't be another world war? So is only one of these apparitions true?

 

Maybe it depends on what you might mean by a World War.

Marie-Julie Jahenny , for instance speaks of the Muslims and Russia invading Europe. But clearly the USA and no other outside the region takes part. So this resembles the First and Second World Wars in many respects but could not truly be called a World War, despite the use of Nuclear Weapons.
I suppose it depends what way you look at it.

 

I've also wondered if Mary's reassurance to Conchita about no world war was specific to that time, when everyone thought they were on the brink of World War III started by the Soviet Union. Maybe Mary was saying the war they thought was imminent wasn't going to happen, but she wasn't speaking for all the rest of time.

 

Yes, she might have been referring to MAD...Mutually Assured Destruction , which was the Military Strategic Doctrine of the time. You press your button and we'll press ours.

But what is coming is very different. For instance the USA seems to drop out of the equation soon in prophetic terms on the World Stage and no one quite know why.

We know for instance that Russia and Islam will attack Europe and we know that China will attack Russia. But no word of the USA in any of this, which seems quite extraordinary.

 

is it possible that the nations of europe will be so busy with internal civil wars that they will not be able to invoke article 5 of nato and that way the muslims will attack one part of europe and the russians another?

 

I would guess the USA gets taken out of the Equation pretty early on. I would guess through Civil War, sneak attack, (some new weapon?) Natural Destruction or some combination of all three.

I am only guessing. But anyway it goes. It has its own issues to deal with.

 

Well I hope not, since I live in the U.S.

I like to think of a couple things. 1. Padre Pio said the U.S. would convert, but not as quickly as Russia. 2. Sister Lucia was being asked questions about future punishments and such, and when asked about the U.S. she gave a slightly surprised look, then just smiled.

I don't think these things indicate the U.S. will be wiped off the map.

What I do think is that the U.S. does not have the very special place in Mary's heart that the older Catholic countries that have been around for much, much longer do. Those countries that established the Catholic monarchies, were part of the Holy Roman Empire, and sent their missionaries out to convert the new world have such a long and rich history during which they inherited both blessings and punishments for their future generations. "To those who have been given much, much will be required" I think applies here.

The U.S. is a baby compared to Europe and Asia. And we still have more faith here than most other countries. It may be that God tells us to be quiet for a bit, sit and learn from what He accomplishes through Europe. Not that we won't have our own punishments...but I just dont think we're central to the big prophecies because God doesn't need us to be. There will be far more meaning to the former Holy Roman (and Byzantine) Empire being central.

 

My foundation is the Gospel of Jesus and I closely follow Global / Geopolitical news.. as well as seeing at times Marian-related prayers for this or that.

Keeping in mind that with God's Will (shall) be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven) - not all Prayers must be answered.. for it is God's Will which shall be done.

Yes I think... That the levels of negatives might be possible to be mitigated / lessened via Prayer..

Thus far in the actual ongoing warfaring - which goes beyond just the (growing) situation in Ukraine, the possibility for them to go nuclear is very real..
We are right now.. .living in a rapidly changing time.. as in? Even 1 year from now - shall we witness very large changes throughout the world and within our lives.

Hoping for the best we should prepare for the worst..

We must ask God for Fortitude / Strength - so as to be able to endure anything which might/can over-burden .

Well thought out, PF, with much truth, but in the last 70 years we have been the dominant power in the the world and the largest exporter of filth and sin (pornography and abortion).

Anyway, my personal goal is to witness by example and by proclamation the love of the Two Hearts and the Mercy God has made available.

Bingo... Speaking of nations.. The Kingdom of God is within us... And I look forward to us being with God and us Saints and Angels in His Coming fully revealed New Jerusalem on the New uncorrupted Earth

 

I think the US is going to have major cataclysmic natural events. A huge earthquake will divide the country. Fires and floods. We are seeing many fires the last few years in California and the Smokey mts. A friend of mine barely escaped the fires in Tenn last year. They were stopped 500 ft from her house. And the flooding last week in Ky. The fires in California. We went through two hurricanes two years ago, they are devastating. Fla has been dealing with the red tide for quite a few years. It smells so awful people get ill and have to move out of state. Great droughts are going on through the country and we will see a lack of food this winter. My community in the Midwest is suffering. Every day on fb people are begging for food and housing. Perhaps the US will be suffering so many earth changes all the energy will be needed here. I don’t know. Our country needs to wake up though and quickly.

I think the primary sin of the U.S. is pride - followed by all of the deadly sins it leads to. What more fitting way for a proud nation to be humbled before God than to be broken on the wheel of natural disaster - and all of the devastation that follows? Laid low before the nations by blow after blow. I do think before total destruction, the people of the U.S. will collectively humble themselves before God and be saved.

After our Lord Jesus Returns and after Judgement .. this tired Earth shall be no more - to be replaced by a New Earth.. Nations? Today? Shall be no more.

100% agree. Remember George Washington’s 3 visions. The U.S. will suffer, but in the end will triumph. We will go back to God.

 

Something else I've always found interesting is that so many seers (Garabandal, Medjugorje, Maria Esperanza) live/lived at least part time in the U.S. These are people who know many things about the future and they chose to make the U.S. their home. It doesn't scream "The U.S. will be destroyed" to me.
