I came across this little movie and feel it is important for all the Irish on the forum to watch - I think there is something profound in this - all roads are leading to Knock and we are beginning to see the beginning of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Ireland. The Road to Knock film takes you on the walk of the annual pilgrimage made by 1000's of people each year from Derry, Belfast, Dublin and Cork to the Holy Shrine of Our Lady of Knock in Co.May, Ireland. After a near death experience falling 70 feet from a waterfall in Thailand, Bafta winning writer Alan Field made his first documentary about his journey along the ancient Camino De Santiago. Now we find his journey taking him to Ireland as he continues to try and understand more about his newly rediscovered faith.
Thank you! I just finished watching. I have no words. The Lamb will conquer.....so powerful. Golden Rose Queen of Ireland pray for us.
This is deeply symbolic and prophetic movement -- Hundreds of people walking from the 4 'corners' of Ireland on a five day walk/pilgrimage saying the Rosary along the way - all focused on getting to the spiritual fulcrum of Ireland - Knock. From Derry, Belfast, Dublin and Cork all in honour of our Lady of Knock and for the re-conversion of Ireland. This gives me great hope that the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary has already begun in Ireland. Our Lady has been preparing for this in the secret garden of her Immaculate Heart - she has been preparing her key workers for years, her small blue army of prayer warriors and intercessors - her golden fleet to stamp on the snakes that have returned to the emerald isle in the form of abominable abortion and perversions. The triumph has begun ----
I believe you Bobby. This journey shown in the film is extremely powerful in its simplicity. Alan Field is raw and real I was so moved by his testimony. All of them who speak are moving in their different ways. The heart and soul of Ireland right here in rain and sun walking up to 31 miles a day praying the Rosary as they go. The prayer power is nuclear. You can feel it. At one point Alan said he began to see Jesus on the Cross. Not trying to imagine. No. Jesus was right there in front of him. He asked one of the pilgrims about it and heard the calm reply "ah so you've got to there then". From praying the Rosary to living the Rosary. Grace upon grace. I must watch it again.
So glad Bill and I made a pilgrimage to Knock on our visit to Ireland in 2013. Had I known about this walk, we may have tried it! What a great movie this was.. you could feel the power and the emotion. Thanks garabandal for posting this! It was lovely to see Knock again. It was such a peaceful, spiritual oasis. I will never forget that feeling.
Started watching this inspirational film last night in bed, the wrong time of course but it's its inspiring to see men and women of faith in my country, still strong in their faith. God bless Ireland this Christmas time and all on this forum. May the grace of faith grow in our land again and clear away the fog of secularism. Merry Christmas to you all. I'll finish this film today. What a mighty faithful group. And a really well put together documentary.
