Great idea, John. I think with all the live volcano coverage and the possible threat of an Atlantic wide tsunami, the temptation of a kind of “doom voyeurism” is very real. I’m seeing it on secular sites. So real heartfelt prayer against the volcano and possible tsunami, and for the people of La Palma, is the best antidote.
I've been waiting and watching for the first signs of rain for la palma as I think it may be devastating for them with all the heavy Ash from the volcano creating mud flows and land slides ironically it looks like the first rains will arrive on the 13th. Our Lady of fatima pray for us.
I am touched by Bushcraft Bear he keeps more and more asking for prayers for these poor, poor people. Prayers to Our Lady tonight. I hate his back to front hat and his habit of wearing his sunglasses on his head however. Poor man. His goatee was a big mistake also. But he's a nice guy. Quite prayerful.
