As we enter more deeply into Lent I will be looking to Our Lady, Queen of Angels, to guide me and intercede for all those I love in these troubled times. May our fasting and prayers help strengthen the Church in Her struggles! A number of years ago, I noticed if I humbly changed the initial verses of Psalm 21 to speak of Our Lady instead of the king of Judah, it turned into a wonderful tribute. I pray she be my guide until I join her at the foot of the Cross and then rejoice at Easter! 1The Queen shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; And in Your salvation how greatly shall she rejoice! 2 You have given her, her heart’s desire, And have not withheld the request of her lips. 3 For You meet her with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of pure gold upon her head. 4 She asked life from You, and You gave it to her— Length of days forever and ever. 5 Her glory is great in Your salvation; Honor and majesty You have placed upon her. 6 For You have made her most blessed forever; You have made her exceedingly glad with Your presence. 7 For the Queen trusts in the Lord, And through the mercy of the Most High she shall not be moved.
