Imagine an apparition at Lipa in 1948 silenced by Bishops under threat of excommunication. Some of those Bishops recanted on their deathbeds. God have mercy on their souls. Silenced by fear.

We see it now with Sister Agnes Sasagawa in Japan. Approved by her Bishop, but oh boy has she been hounded since he died. God still sent His Angel to Sister Sasagawa to warn us after the packamama incident at the Vatican. Sack cloth and ashes, repent. No one listened, and corona virus brought the world to a halt.

It is worthy to note what poor Sister Teresine and her convent suffered in Lipa. And I thought this linked article was well written. I believe she died in 2016. God rest her sweet soul. She was told China wanted to take over the world.

It is amazing how, even in our time, modern prophets are stoned for a variety of reasons, even by church hierarchy.

There are countless instances throughout history where supposed visitations from heaven are scorned for a time, only to be finally realized true many years later.

I’m just glad God is in charge, if it were up to humanity, nothing would be accomplished.

Yes, during the apparition, Our Blessed Lady wanted the filipino nuns to take the St. Louis de Montfort's Consecration to Mary.

COVID-19 revives interest in ‘China prophecy’ of 1948 Lipa ‘apparition’
What Archbishop Vidal wrote the CBCP about the ‘secrets’ revealed to Carmelite nun

The new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has revived interest among Filipino Catholics in the disclosure by the late Cebu Archbishop Ricardo Cardinal Vidal that the alleged apparition of the Virgin Mary in Lipa City, Batangas, in 1948 had warned against “China’s dream of invading the whole world.”

Cardinal Vidal, in a 2014 letter to the Catholic Bishops’ of the Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), said one of the “secrets” of the alleged Lipa apparition as revealed to Carmelite nun Teresita Castillo was the invasion of the Philippines and the world.

“Pray hard for China’s dream is to invade the whole world,” Vidal quoted from the notes of Castillo on the alleged apparition at the Carmelite convent in Lipa City in 1948, a year before the Communist triumph in China and Communist leader Mao Tse-tung’s official proclamation of the People’s Republic of China.

“The Philippines is one of its favorites. Money is the evil force that will lead the people of the world to destruction.”

Vidal, the archbishop of Lipa before he became Cebu archbishop in 1982, wrote the letter in 2014 shortly after China took over the Panatag Shoal from the Philippines in 2012 and made several incursions in the West Philippine Sea.

The warning has been made more relevant when the Duterte administration adopted a pro-China policy. It has not protested the Chinese military buildup in the West Philippine Sea. It has also allowed the entry of Chinese overseas gaming operators and illegal workers.

The warning has become relevant because the new coronavirus that has caused the worldwide pandemic is widely alleged to have come from Wuhan, China.

Beijing has come under fire for censoring reports on initial infections and allowing its citizens to travel abroad that might have abetted the spread of the virus especially in Europe and North America. Beijing also has not shared data on coronavirus sufficient enough for the rest of the world to gain information that could help in the development of antibodies or vaccine against COVID-19.

    Mediatrix of All Grace
The alleged apparitions in 1948 has been determined by the Vatican as “of no supernatural origin” in a 2016 letter of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith addressed to then Lipa Archbishop Ramon Arguelles.

But devotion to Mary Mediatrix of Grace, which was the alleged title of the Marian apparition, is not forbidden by the Vatican. In fact the Mediatrix icon is ubiquitous in Batangas province and the Carmel church in Lipa is a popular pilgrimage site.

“It is thus to the Queen of Prophets under her title of Mediatrix of All Grace to whom we will have recourse in order to avert the buildup of tension and to check the territorial ambitions of this Asian superpower,” wrote Vidal.

“It is by following this path of prayer and penance sounded out in Fatima and reiterated at Lipa that our beloved Philippines will be spared the scourge of war and the domination of a communist giant.”

    Prayer
Cardinal Vidal on June 19, 2014, issued a prayer asking for the Virgin Mary’s intercession to protect the Philippines against the “security” threat posed by China.

He called on Catholics to regularly recite the rosary and say the prayer:

“Most Blessed Virgin Mary, amid the crisis brought about by the territorial claims of China, we come to your presence seeking your queenly protection and motherly help. We pray for peace and the safety of the Philippines, as we keep in mind the spiritual welfare of those who advance their territorial claims to the detriment of the security of our country.

“May the love of your Maternal Heart attract the Chinese people to your Son, Jesus. May your Immaculate Heart be the center from which the rays of the light and love for the Sacred Heart will radiate forth throughout China, becoming for them the unquenchable fountain from which the living water of the Divine Mercy will flow. Through your intercession, may the Lord grace the Chinese people with faith, hope and love, that by your maternal mediation of grace, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit will be worshiped and glorified in that vast expanse of land. (Adapted from a message of Jesus to Sister Lucy of Fatima as documented in a letter of the Seer to the Bishop of Gurza, May 27, 1943)

“Remember O most gracious Virgin that the Philippines is your beloved ‘Pueblo Amante de Maria’ (People in love with Mary) and that we belong to you absolutely, totally, always and forever. We are all yours and all that we have is yours, O most loving Jesus through Mary, Mediatrix of All Grace.”

Cardinal Vidal retired as Cebu archbishop in 2010 and died in 2017.

Teresita Castillo, the daughter of former Batangas Gov. Modesto Castillo, died the year before.

The recent discovery of the report on the Lipa incidents by then University of Santo Tomas (UST) rector Fr. Angel de Blas in the archives of the Dominican curia in Santa Sabina Basilica in Rome showed that Castillo was a genuine seer and that the apparitions were authentic, Demetriou added.

De Blas, a clinical psychologist and considered the father of psychology education in the Philippines, was assigned by the Church commission to investigate Castillo.

In 1938, he set up UST’s experimental psychology laboratory, the first of its kind in East Asia. In 1948, he set up UST’s BS Psychology program, the first in the country.

He was the rector of the Pontifical University from 1948 to 1952.

    Interrogation
In her account, Castillo said she was suddenly brought on the commission’s order to the UST Hospital, where she was interrogated by De Blas and noted psychiatrist Dr. Leopoldo Pardo.

She painted a negative figure of De Blas as constantly pounding on the table throughout her three-hour ordeal, and telling her to sign a document stating that the apparitions were “a hoax, a fraud.”

When she refused to sign, telling him that “what you’ve written here, Father, is not true,” De Blas got mad and threw an ashtray at her. She said she ducked and evaded getting hit.

In his report written in Spanish, De Blas did not mention the ashtray-throwing incident but declared Castillo “normal” and a “seer.”

“Teresita’s trances are quite similar to those experienced by certain hysterical people, but they do not differ much from what some saints have experienced,” De Blas wrote. “As can be seen in Dr. Pardo’s report, Teresita does not show a hysterical personality of any known type and in all manifestations, she’s proven to possess a normal personality.”

“It is evident that Teresita must be classified under the group of visionaries or seers [as written by classic spiritual authors],” De Blas added. “Teresita is among those visionaries who receive messages [meant] for the world in which God proposes to change the bad habits especially of those of Christians and clergy and threatening punishment if these are not heeded.”

    Secret
De Blas said such “celestial messages are usually accompanied by a secret which the visionary is prohibited from revealing.”

He said the secret was revealed by Castillo to Cardinal Rufino Santos: “You will suffer greatly all your life … Suffer for your own salvation.”

And in his findings, De Blas linked Lipa with Fatima:

“The apparitions of the previous 15 days appear to have no other purpose but to manifest the love and interest of the Holy Virgin Mary with the title ‘Mary Mediatrix’ for the [Carmelite] community of Lipa and her desire that worship should flourish through genuine religious observance.

“It is only in the apparition of the 12th of November where there is reference to the Christian world; there, praying of the rosary is inculcated for the fulfillment of the wishes manifested by Our Lady of Fatima.”

CHINA TO OCCUPY EASTERN RUSSIA: PROPHECIES OF SERAPHIM OF VYRITSA
    August 6, 2012 · by orthoproph
[IMG]Prophecies attributed to the monk Seraphim Of Vyritsa (1866-1949) explore in detail the future of Russia, a spiritual awakening expected to occur just before the arrival of the antichrist, and a great war that is expected to bring about the unity of humankind prior to the antichrist’s reign.

Here is a summary of these prophecies:

    1. War against Russia. Russia will be torn to pieces and robbed of its wealth. With the connivance of Western powers, Russia will lose Siberia to the Chinese, who will move in, marry Russians, and occupy Russia westward to the Ural Mountains. There, Western opposition will halt the Chinese advance. Russia’s Far East will become Japanese territory.

    2. Salvation of the East. As other countries move against Russia, much of Russia’s territory will fall to them. Yet Russia will survive, and salvation will come to the East through Russia, as the East will be baptized there. St. Petersburg will become the spiritual center of Russia, with the opening and glorification of holy relics.

    3. Spiritual renewal among youth. At last, a time will come when debauchery among the young can go no farther, and they will give up lives of crime and self-indulgence. Then they will turn to the Faith and gravitate toward ascetic life, so that many of them will become monastics.

    4. Russia’s spiritual ‘flowering.’ A “spiritual flowering” will occur in Russia. Believers from other religions will travel there to be baptized. This spiritual phenomenon, however, will be brief — only about 15 years. Then the antichrist will appear.

    5. World unity before the antichrist arrives. Humankind will unite after the great war against Russia, which will be so horrible that the world will see such unity as the only way to save life on Earth. A world government will form and will provide the basis for the subsequent kingdom of the antichrist.

Born Basil Mouraviov, Seraphim of Vyritsa is said to have entered monastic life following a dream in which he met the great Saint Seraphim of Sarov. For an article about the prophecies of Seraphim or Vyritsa, see http://www.orthodoxengland.org.uk/propsera.htm. He is remembered for a letter of spiritual guidance concerning surrender to the will of God (see http://orthodoxwiki.org/This_was_from_me).

Luan, If these prophecies are from God then I think that number 1 needs to occur before the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart and this could be the thing that brings Russia back to the Faith (I think that is what Malachi Martin said). Imho it could take awhile (years) before number 1 comes to fruition. These prophecies have not been approved by the Church due to the fact that this monk belongs to the Russian Orthodox church for one reason, correct?
Thanks for posting this though, it is interesting.

Edited to add: After thinking about this some more, I started to wonder if possibly number 1 begins to occur soon after the third secret of Fatima occurs. Iow, maybe it is possible that some of these things occur or at least part of them begin to occur almost simultaneously and maybe part of this list as actually occurred already. I would love to hear other's thoughts about these alleged prophecies.
