A particular favourite of mine is an Eastern Rite one : Theotokis (God bearer or carrier). This title reminds me that She was the first tabernacle to contain the Blessed Sacrament
Beautiful. I’ve always been partial to Our Lady of Grace from my grade school days. I was married in the Church beside the school I went to as a youngster, under that title.
I love both Theotokos and Mother of God, as well as the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I personally love Our Lady of Fatima because she was the one who brought me back to the Faith (this month in fact) and Our Lady of Grace, because shortly after my reversion, I received two statues of Her under that title, which taught me how essential grace is.
I share a similar story. I too reverted after following for a number of years a non-Christian faith (Baha'i Faith) and immediately after my return home I was introduced to the Fatima phenomenon. I have a deep love of Our Lady of Fatima ever since
I think it was Fr Rippenger (an exorcist priest) who said, the two titles of Our Lady the demons hate the most causing them extreme distress are.... Virgin Most Powerful! and Mother of Sorrows! I have been lead to pray "the seven sorrows of Our Lady rosary" daily, over the last few months, this is in addition to the Dominican rosary, and amazingly Our Lady has given me the time! which I didn't think would be possible in my life. Mary seems to be able to make time! so please try to add extra prayers especially "the rosary of the seven sorrows of Mary" as Our Lady is exhorting us to pray more and she will accommodate you with extra time, she is so powerful. Anyway, I have incorporated these above two titles into "the seven sorrows rosary" along with the titles.... Our Lady Help of Christians and Our Lady of Perpetual Succour. My family is in dire need of peace and so I have recourse to Our Lady of Sorrows through the "the seven sorrows of Our Lady rosary" Please see Our lady's promises below.... Yes, AED, this title bequeathed to Our Lady through the angel, Gabriel, remains for me the preeminent indicator of Mary's inherent beauty and irresistibility! Found in Luke 1 it is the foundation stone for our belief in her Immaculate Conception. v.28 And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. (DRV) I literally refuse to quote that verse from any Catholic Bible that uses the descriptive: highly favored; to do so clouds the truth of Mary's pure and stunning uniqueness and even tempts one to believe such favor is related directly to her Motherhood. At least in this verse, it absolutely does not! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
What does "...highly favoured" even mean? A footballer can be highly favoured as can a comfortable armchair. Only The Immaculate Conception is Full Of Grace
