    I have just realised that........

    Number One)

Exactly 33 years to the day prior to the great Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, that is, on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a remarkable vision. When the aged Pontiff had finished celebrating Mass in his private Vatican Chapel, attended by a few Cardinals and members of the Vatican staff, he suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar. He stood there for about 10 minutes, as if in a trance, his face ashen white. Then, going immediately from the Chapel to his office, he composed the prayer to St. Michael, with instructions it be said after all Low Masses everywhere. When asked what had happened, he explained that, as he was about to leave the foot of the altar, he suddenly heard voices - two voices, one kind and gentle, the other guttural and harsh. They seemed to come from near the tabernacle. As he listened, he heard the following conversation..........

The guttural voice, the voice of Satan in his pride, boasted to Our Lord:"I can destroy your Church."The gentle voice of Our Lord:"You can? Then go ahead and do so."Satan:"To do so, I need more time and more power."Our Lord:"How much time? How much power?Satan:"75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those who will give themselves over to my service."Our Lord:"You have the time, you will have the power. Do with them what you will.

    Number Two)
100 years later on the 25 March 1984 which is (the feast of the Incarnation of Jesus the word made flesh and the annunciation of the Angel Gabriel to the Blessed Virgin Mary), the Holy father Pope John Paul 11 in St. Peter's Square and Before the Holy Year Mass for Families, with the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, brought from Fatima to Rome for this purpose by the Bishop of Leiria-Fatima next to the main altar, the Holy Father gave an introduction, also in English, where he said in part:

"....In remembrance of the 'Fiat' uttered by her at the moment of the Annunciation, I will today entrust to her Immaculate Heart—in spiritual union with all the bishops of the world—all individuals and peoples, repeating in substance the act that I made at Fatima on May 13, 1982. ..and also he added "the whole world, especially the peoples for which by reason of their situation you Our Most Holy Mother have particular love and solicitude.”

On August 29, 1989 Sr. Lucia affirms in correspondence that the consecration of Russia “has been accomplished” and that “God will keep His word.”.

Here is the one hundred years of satans greater power granted by God, but Our Lady offered a period of peace afer consecration to her immaculate Heart,to sustain her children because she is such a gentle mother and (having greater power before God than satan ever had); So now is the time of the culmination or the show down if you like, The humility of the Blessed Virgin opposing/verses the the pride of satan!

    God be prasied!!!

    How magnificient!!!

Since 1984 we have had a period of peace!

In fact 31 years of peace!

How long is a period of peace?

    Is it a generation?

and does 31 years constitute a generation?

Or does 33 years??...... which will be 2017!!

I believe Pope John Paul 11 saved us all in 1984 from certain doom and now we await the tribulation and the final hour.!!!!

Praise God and may His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, and His Kingdom come. Amen.

I am 57 years old, so I can speak to the past 31 years of 'peace'. Where has this peace been? I can't count the number of wars there has been in the past 31 years. All war is ugly, but perhaps none in the past 31 years uglier than the 1994 Rwandan Genocide where nearly 1 million Catholics killed within a 3 month period. How many more were killed in Gulf War I and Gulf War II. One Could go on and on with wars all around the globe in the past 31 years. If anyone thinks the past 31 years is the 'Ear of Peace' that our Lady of Fatima spoke of then they way underestimate what the era of peace that our Lady foretold will be.

    From GSWYL messages http://godspeakswillyoulisten.org/
"My son at Fatima, my daughter Mary asked explicitly for the consecration of Russia by the Pope and the bishops of the world. This event has not taken place as asked by my daughter Mary. If it had my son, the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary would have already taken place. You would already be living in the era of peace. It is evident there is no peace in your world. Only a blind man would make such a statement. My son, mankind has not responded to my mercy. Mankind has increasingly become more evil and sinful. A day will soon arrive which will cause my wrath to chastise my children. Again, I say these words not to frighten, but to wake up my children. If you live in my peace, there truly is nothing to fear. Again, only the ungodly and lukewarm need to fear".

Sounds like good advice for "These Days"!

HeartLight Daily Verse - 2 January

    Psalms 90:12

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

    Thoughts on today's verse:
So often we look up and time has passed us by. The things we promised ourselves we'd accomplish and the deeds we told others we'd do get left undone. Before we know it, days have become weeks, and weeks months, and months years. We find ourselves unable to do what we once assumed we could do any time we want. We must ask the Spirit of God to help us see and seize the opportunities the LORD places in our path.
    Prayer:
Father, I confess that so often I leave undone what needs to be done. Please help me see your plans in each of my days and live in a way which not only honors you, but also blesses those you want me to reach. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Of course I do not know the answer and like most of us speculate on the matter of 'the Era of Peace' as promised.

It has seemed to me that the Divine Mercy promises which came through Saint Maria Faustina from the 1930's, have become the means God has used to avert a third world war, to date.

Saint John Paul while still a Cardinal reopened the Divine Mercy writings in 1978, and within a year became Pope. I don't think that was a coincidence.

It has seemed to me that we have been spared an all out world war by the Mercy of God, and the intercession of Immaculate Heart of Mary, especially after the Consecration in 1984.

But now, it seems we will enter a period of Peace through the Triumph of Immaculate Heart of Mary either through the Grace of the Holy Year of Mercy this year. Or for many a Holy time of Justice after that.

It is like when you take the children to the park to play. That is us in the world at the moment.
Heavenly Father has said 'enough playing, it is time to come home for teatime.' (Or prayer time). :coffee:

Like children, most should just come home when they are asked; but there is always some who refuse to obey.
Some of us try to answer the call to prayer, and live in God's grace; but some refuse to stop having fun. :p

So those of us who try to respond with prayer and repentance are just doing what we are told. We are being obedient children.
Those of us who are not prepared to stop having a good time, and obey Our Heavenly Father will be dragged home for teatime, just like any responsible parent would do to a stubborn child. Yes, kicking and screaming if need be.

If we do as we are told, we enjoy the time of Mercy even through the time of Justice.
If we do not do as we are told, God will drag us home kicking and screaming if He has to. That is Justice.

You see, I think Heavenly Father is preparing us for the Triumph of Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Era of Peace as promised. But we have a duty to respond to His Call in our day. :)

Well Julia's little take on the situation.

    Hi all,

Many here on the MoG forum are far more educated than myself and some seem to have either close ties to people who know about concealed dealings of the vatican and additionally some even seem to be privy to covert or undisclosed knowledge that the rest of the Catholic faithful do not have!

So speaking as a humble, uninformed Catholic, these are my thoughts but I may well be wrong.

I speak them here as I believe this is a safe place.

Has Russia Been Consecrated by the Pope? Arguments from both sides

    by Dr Taylor Marshall

Has Russia been consecrated to the Immaculate Heart as the Blessed Mother asked at Fatima? This has become a controversial topic since June 26, 2000. I guest-hosted Drew Mariani’s Catholic radio show on Relevant Radio on Friday afternoon and at the end of the show we discussed Pope Francis’ consecration of the world to Mary’s Immaculate Heart on October 13, 2013 (Deo gratias!).
As a reminder, here is the text of the words of Our Lady regarding the consecration of Russia to her heart:

Apparition of 13 July 1917 after Our Lady showed the children hell, the Blessed Virgin said......

You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. It is to save them that God wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart. If you do what I tell you, many souls will be saved, and there will be peace. This war will end, but if men do not refrain from offending God, another and more terrible war will begin during the pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night that is lit by a strange and unknown light [this occurred on January 28, 1938], you will know it is the sign God gives you that He is about to punish the world with war and with hunger, and by the persecution of the Church and the Holy Father.

To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to my Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of reparation on the First Saturdays. If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred; the Holy Father will have much to suffer; various nations will be annihilated. In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to me, and she shall be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world.”

Mary says the Holy Father will consecrate Russia to her and Russia will be converted. Several Popes have consecrated “the world” to Mary. Debate centers on whether consecrating “the world” counts for consecrating “Russia.”

List of Papal Consecrations to the Immaculate Heart

There have been at least 7 consecrations by Popes to the Immaculate Heart:

    1) On October 31 1942, Pope Pius XII performed the Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for the entire world.

    2) On July 7 1952, Pope Pius XII consecrated the Peoples of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by his apostolic letterSacro Vergente Anno. Pius XII stated:

Just as a few years ago We consecrated the entire human race to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, so today We consecrate and in a most special manner We entrust all the peoples of Russia to this Immaculate Heart.”

    3) On November 21, 1964 Pope Paul VI renews, in the presence of the Fathers of the Vatican Council but without their participation, the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart.

    4) On May 13, 1982 Pope John Paul II invites the bishops of the world to join him in consecrating the world and with it Russia to the Immaculate Heart. Many do not receive the invitation in time for the Pope’s trip to Fatima, where he accomplishes the consecration. Sr. Lucia later says it did not fulfill the conditions.

    5) In October 1983 Pope John Paul II, at the Synod of Bishops, renews the 1982 Consecration.

    6) On March 25, 1984 Pope John Paul II, “united with all the pastors of the Church in a particular bond whereby we constitute a body and a college,” consecrates “the whole world, especially the peoples for which by reason of their situation you have particular love and solicitude.”

On August 29, 1989 Sr. Lucia affirms in correspondence that the consecration of Russia “has been accomplished” and that “God will keep His word.”

Sister Lucia personally confirmed that this solemn and universal act of consecration corresponded to what Our Lady wished (“Sim, està feita, tal como Nossa Senhora a pediu, desde o dia 25 de Março de 1984”: “Yes it has been done just as Our Lady asked, on 25 March 1984”: Letter of 8 November 1989). Hence any further discussion or request is without basis.

In the documentation presented here four other texts have been added to the manuscripts of Sister Lucia: 1) the Holy Father's letter of 19 April 2000 to Sister Lucia; 2) an account of the conversation of 27 April 2000 with Sister Lucia; 3) the statement which the Holy Father appointed Cardinal Angelo Sodano, Secretary of State, to read on 13 May 2000; 4) the theological commentary by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.

As you can see, those that allege that Russia has not been properly consecrated including Father Gruner must say that Sister Lucia, the recipient of Mary’s message, was either wrong, deceived, performing some sort of mental reservation to deceive everyone on the matter or worse still she was prevented to disclose the real truth and then gagged by the authority of high Church officials, (that being cardinals and bishops)! furthermore, one must say that Cardinal Ratzinger, the future Pope Benedict XVI, used extended mental reservation to deceive the entire world in this matter on June 26, 2000 and ever since.

With the Passing of Sr Lucia in 2005, and if the 1984 consecration as some claim, was not valid... how can we ever verify that a future consecration will properly fulfill the request of heaven?
It would make more sense that Heaven would ensure that the one who is in a position to verify a proper consecration would be alive to announce it when it did occur....

I believe Russia was not consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in time to prevent the 2nd world war nor to stop Russia spreading her errors thoughout the world.

However, since March 25, 1984 when Pope John Paul II, “united with all the pastors of the Church in a particular bond whereby we constitute a body and a college,” consecrates “the whole world, especially the peoples for which by reason of their situation you have particular love and solicitude.”, we have a start and
maybe there are more stages to come?

    Has Russia been consecrated properly?

Despite these distinct consecrations of the world by Popes (one mentioning Russia), people still debate whether Russia has been specifically consecrated as per the instructions of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima.

Here are both sides of the debate.

Those who say Russia has not been properly consecrated, point to two problems:
    1) The Popes have not consecrated “Russia” specifically in union with the bishops. It is granted that the world has been consecrated and that Russia belongs to the world. Russia has been consecrated as part of the collective of nations, but not specifically. It’s the difference between a priest blessing a congregation in which you are present and the priest blessing you specifically by name.

    2) Russia is far from being “converted” as Mary promised would happen if the consecration were made. If Russia were duly consecrated, wouldn’t she be converted and wouldn’t we be living in “a period of peace granted to the world” as promised by Mary? Since Russia has not yet converted and since we are not in a period of peace, the consecration of Russia, they say, has not happened.

Those that say Russia has been consecrated, point to two proofs:
    1) Sister Lucia stated that the consecration of Russia was accomplished by the action of John Paul II on March 25, 1984. If anyone knew, it was Sister Lucia – she received the message from Mary.

    2) The Holy See, at the revelation of the Third Secret on June 26, 2000, indicated that the consecration had been accomplished. Sister Lucia, expressed her agreement.

On the other hand, it sure doesn’t look like Russia has been “converted” as Our Lady promised.

I look to scripture to see if it can explain the seeming contradictions in the promises of Our Lady

Maybe the consecration has occurred but the conversion may very well be in stages just like the healing of the blind man in Mark Gospel?

    Mark 8:22-26

“And they came to Bethsaida. And some people brought to him a blind man and begged him to touch him. And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, ’Do you see ’anything?’ And he looked up and said, ’I see men, but they look like trees, walking.’ Then Jesus laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. And he sent him to his home, saying, ’Do not even enter the village’”(Mark 8:22-26).

Why was this man healed in stages?

It was not because of any lack in Jesus, as if he didn’t have the power to heal him all at once.

It was not because this man’s blindness was a particularly hard case.

It was not because Jesus tried and failed the first time.

If the text itself isn’t clear, go to the context. That is, find out what comes before and after and see if that helps.

If you go back to the beginning of Mark 8, you have the miracle of the feeding of the 4000 (vv. 1-10). Immediately afterwards the Pharisees came to argue with him (vv. 11-12. After Jesus and the disciples got into a boat, he warned them to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees (v. 15). Leaven is another word for the yeast necessary for baking bread, but in this case it refers to the false teaching of the Pharisees. But the disciples thought he was talking about literal bread. Jesus then rebuked the disciples by saying,“Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember?”

You can’t separate this miracle from its context because the miracle is like a parable of the disciples’ spiritual confusion. It is possible to have eyes and yet not see very clearly.
Cloudy spiritual vision afflicts every Christian to some degree. None of us sees as clearly as we would like for now we see through a glass darkly.

Also the raising of Lazarus from the dead teaches us something as well.

    John 11

38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance.39 “Take away the stone,”he said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.”

40 Then Jesus said,“Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”

41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked upand said,“Father,I thank you that you have heard me.42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”

43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice,“Lazarus, come out!”

44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.

Jesus said to them,“Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

Jesus could have saved Lazarus from death before Lazarus died! When Our Lord raises Lazarus from the dead we still have to remove the death bandages to release Him.

I believe these stages could also apply to the consecration of Russia, and it's conversion and even to the ultimate triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

The consecration may have been accomplished as Sister Lucia and the Vatican have informed us, but the conversion is still taking place! we need to roll the stone away and remove the grave cloths.

Our Ladys Immaculate heart will triumph in the end!!
    Alleluia!!

A few months ago I’ve purchased the original Portuguese edition from 1984 of this book:

    http://www.mycatholicstore.com/doonfameofsi.html

And there it is again, like in my old book “Memórias da Irmã Lúcia”, 1st edition from 1976, the scary key sentence that help us understanding this enigma:

"They did not wish to heed My request! Like the King of France they will repent of it, and they will do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread its errors in the world, provoking wars and persecutions against the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer."

But we don’t really need this kind of documents anymore, the announced consequences of an unconsecrated Russia are out there for us to see. We only have to look at the news to realize that the foretold spread of apostasy inside the Church is there in everywhere, not just in Rome, but all around the world where many cardinals, bishops, priests and laypeople are now preaching new and false doctrines on God’s mercy, marriage, family, communism or liberation theology, homosexuality an others that will lead many to hell. Now we need to wait for the physical chastisements of God’s mercy which might help saving souls.

    Basto,
do you believe that the faith will grow cold and many good people of the Catholic Faith will follow false teachings and the antichrist will come into the world and rule the world with a one world religion! and a one world Government! and one world way of buying an selling? And then do you believe that this must take place before the Second Coming of Christ?

If so, than the New Era of peace where all will live in the "New heaven and the New earth", where there will be 'no more tears', will only be accomplished after a very great chastisment!

After this..... the reign of the Immaculate Heart of Mary next to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will then be accomplished as the world will be finally purified.

    If so I agree!
