A father wanted to read a magazine but was being bothered by his little girl, Shelby... She wanted to know what the United States looked like. Finally, he tore a sheet out of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the country. Tearing it into small pieces, he gave it to Shelby and said, 'Go into the other room and see if you can put this together. This will show you our whole country today..' After a few minutes, Shelby returned and handed him the map, correctly fitted and taped together. The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly. 'Oh,' she said, 'on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus. When I got all of Jesus back where He belonged, then our country just came together.' This one is worthy forwarding. OVER AND OVER AMEN!!!! Sooo........ when we get Jesus back where he Belongs-- our country will come together.
Hi Lee, I absolutely love this story! How true! Unfortunately, I do not see the USA gravitating back to its Christian roots anytime soon. The culture of death seems to have a firm grip on the country's neck and won't let go easily. Tom
Tom, I am the Eternal Optimist and I believe if we turn full force to the Rosary, really commit our hearts, minds and souls to Her Immaculate Heart, that we could in fact change the tide, and our country, our people and our hope could be saved. Fasting and prayer are such enormous tools, combined with the Rosary (at least 4 heart felt recitations daily) I think we could help to usher in a real Culture of Love. But you know, it has to start with "us".
